The funny thing about Ross Stewart doing his shush celebration was that no one had heard a peep out of the Fulham fans all afternoon.

I thought I chose that word carefully .

According to after match stats. Fulham had more corners, and 24 shots to our 5,  and total  68% possession.

Whilst we looked good when we had the ball  and had the better chances on the break, those figures don't lie.

But they didnt really create that much with theiir 68%, we cut them open quite a few times and so if you go on stats then your position stands but the quality of our chances were far superior and we could have scored 2 or 3. RM loved having the possession but we know where that got us against PL teams

It's the word 'outclassed' that I think is wholly inaccurate and makes it sound as though Fulham were waltzing through us and creating chances at will. The figures don't lie but they do paint a false picture because we could have scored at least three goals from big chances whereas Fulham didn't create any actual big chances. So perhaps we 'outclassed' them when it came to creation of real chances.
