sandwichsaint Posted 28 February, 2009 Share Posted 28 February, 2009 Next season we are going to have the 'Do-you-definitely-think-we-are-going-to-get-relegated?' poll in early September, we will reply in an approximate raio of 90% Yes - 10% No; players will get large kick up ar5e and start to turn in a 100% home record, we will get into play-offs (easily). Don't see how this can fail and it's definitely a better plan than the one we went into this season with....
the boy from saints Posted 28 February, 2009 Share Posted 28 February, 2009 The smart answer is because Rupey Babey thought we could walk this league on the cheap - then realised, in reality (something we all knew) you need a mix of experience and youth to succeed. A bit more expensive - but a lot less expensive than relegation. Wotte has finally been given the tools to succeed (I feel a bit sorry for Jan as I think he was shackled as to who he could choose as his starting 11) and it's reaping the benefits!
