Saint Keith Posted 4 August, 2008 Share Posted 4 August, 2008 have had a problem with outlook the last week. almost freezes , usually when i try to delete an email, or scroll to the next one. takes ages. have had this problem once before, but rebooting solved it, but not this time any ideas? exit2 Posted 4 August, 2008 Share Posted 4 August, 2008 How big is your pst file? When they get to approx 2gb they can get a bit flakey. Run scanpst to resolve any issues you may have. Also check the size of the email you are trying to delete. If hugh in size this can cause a problem to. You could also create another pst to see if it is that or the outlook application. It will then ask for the location of you rpst file and away it goes. I will warn you though that if the pst is knackered it may delete loads of email!
