70's Mike Posted 13 April, 2009 Share Posted 13 April, 2009 In 9 hours time we MAY well know our fate, bring it on , i say, i expect to see 14/15 players prepared to give it all today for the shirt. Match day today, going to walk to One Stop to buy a paper, read it , get two lads out of bed. Leave home about midday , park car , finf pub, not sure which one today. Get to the ground by about 2.40 so i do not miss MLT. Try and Pump up Volume, try and shut out the pitch announcer telling me how important the game is, I KNOW PRATT. Hopefully go home with HOPE for future on the pitch in CCC still intact. I must be wierd because i am as excited about today as i was in 2003 semi final. Come on Saints you CAN BEAT this sh*t
thorpie the sinner Posted 13 April, 2009 Share Posted 13 April, 2009 Thing is, the match day feeling will never change!! even in league 1 if that is our fate, the feeling will be the same especially if we have new owners and players caring about the shirt!! Match day as a football fan is a special day!

trousers Posted 13 April, 2009 Share Posted 13 April, 2009 Cannot even imagine what a winter saturday would be like without SFC. Shopping with the missus anyone ? I think your missus would be a bit hacked off with your kind offer if all 25,000 of us took it up.
Stu Man Do Posted 13 April, 2009 Share Posted 13 April, 2009 You know on friday I couldnt imagine being bothered to attend again this season our boys had let us down so badly AGAIN that what would be the point, by Sunday I was considering it and today I've just brought my tickets going to football IS still exciting despite the fact in my heart I know I'll probably be let down again!!! As Adrian Chiles once said its the bloody hope that kills you! If the team cant raise their game today and we dont see them up for it in the first 10-15 mins you just know we're in for a long afternoon! Still heres hoping COYR's!
