Me likely a lot.

But now Ive got to remove Liquid Liquid from my mix! :(

You could always put Liquid Liquid's 'Scraper' in there.

I think it's a better tune; I only put 'Cavern' in because eveyone recognises it.

Although most will assume that it is a sample, it pre-dates 'White Lines'.

This mixtape is superb. If i was young i could be said to be "lovin' it", but as i'm not i'll just say it is bloody fantastic.

Thanks Special K.

I called the mix '3 phase' and tried to create an electric whole from 3 distinct phases, separated by skits.

After an introduction the theme was on an old school beat digger tip, this was followed by some of the artists who were influenced by those soul beats.

To finish...... a small platter of lightly fried nuggets that I hoped would appeal to all, and a JB outro with a Saints theme.

Yes, pretentious twaddle, but I enjoyed putting it together. I started DJing 20 years ago and still get a buzz from music.

The best thing about the SWF mixtapes is hearing new tunes and in some cases turning on to new genres.

I really enjoyed Rattlehead's mixtape because it was so different from the kind of stuff I would normally listen to. It has spurred me on to broaden my musical horizons even more.

I'm hoping that Rattlehead and Manji might get together and provide a beginner's guide of essentials for me.

I really hope that Deppo, and Harvey both do a mixtape...... they are always listening to some pretty awesome tunes!
