Just not premier league standard. From 26 shots, only 10 are on target with 3 goals. 7 "Big chances missed" is more than anyone in the premier league. While I'm not saying Ralph has been great, this has to be a big contribution to our current predicament! Even Perraud and S Armstrong have more goals per minute played!
I really liked Ralph when he first came here. Was a real breath of fresh air on how he would work the players.
Then with the run after Christmas I thought we'd turned the corner.

I hate to say it but the whole thing has gotten lazy since he said he may retire at the end of his contract. They players aren't fighting for him anymore, and most of them aren't good enough. Time to go. Thanks for the good times Ralph!
I guess there's 2 ways of looking at it.
We have 2 years of stability with a good manager and a chance to find and integrate the successor.
Players tend to stop trying when they know a manager is going....
Liverpool and Man Utd with a bit of Spurs for thinking they're bigger than they are. Newcastle Arabia's recent form puts them with Spurs. I would love it if they get relegated, just love it! And if they escape by 6 points it would be tough on the team that takes their place!
While I couldn't make the Spurs game, I really thought the crowd had an impact on Tuesday. It seems so many other teams have fans on the referees back from the start, yet at SMS we usually just sit there quietly and make it easy for refs to give decisions against us.
Yet I felt that the crowd on his back swayed decisions in our favour on Tuesday. Unfortunately I don't think it'll last...
