  1. Someone mentioned new songs for Bednarek, Armstrong and Bertrand? Saint Nacho did a decent one for Bertrand on youtube. Heard it sung once at Fulham away in the cup. Sent from my SM-G975F using Tapatalk
  2. A mate of mine from abroad does that kind of thing. I'll send a messenger pigeon to Bolivia and see what he says... Sent from my SM-G955F using Tapatalk
  3. How about this, to the tune of 'Saturday Night' by Whigfield: Pierre Emile Hoijberg plays for Denmark and the Saints Like Ronnie Ekerlund He came from Bayern coz he fuc*ing hates the skates So lets have a disco Oi Do do do do do do do do do Do do do Do do do do do do do 1-2-3 disco..... And so on. Sent from my SM-G955F using Tapatalk
  4. Anything is better than the songs we have at the moment. Gabbiadini and Yoshida both have the same song, Bertrand doesn't have one at all and neither does Hoijberg. Actually, McCarthy doesn't have one either. Not just moaning for the sake of moaning by the way, I do have some suggestions. [emoji3] Sent from my SM-G955F using Tapatalk
  5. We have some decent players, believe it or not, but again they are not being used in the right way. We cannot defend set pieces with 2 centre backs. We just can't do it. Hughes started with 3 at the back. We had none of the ball for 20 minutes but we defended pretty well I thought. Especially considering who we were playing! On about 20 minutes we started to keep the ball going forward and started to cause them problems. The players seemed to find some confidence culminating in Ings' chance. Straight after that, Hughes switched Bednarek to right back and went to a back 4. Clear instructions from the bench. Bertrand didn't look too impressed, especially as he had just skinned their right back. Within 2 minutes of that change we conceded. Coincidence? No, the stats even tell us we are more successful with a back 3. Terrible, terrible tactical management. That was it for us. Hughes needs to learn from his mistakes but clearly isn't. Due to his tactics we lost the Liverpool game before we even started. His substitutions lost us the game at Wolves and against Brighton. I agreed with most that Hughes deserved a crack at the job after keeping us up but if Rogers is available, go and get him. I think we have a mid-table squad. Nothing more, but at least that. Our last three managerial appointments have either been ill advised or made out of desperation. They need to get it right, quickly, and make Rogers an offer he can't refuse. 6. If we play 3 at the back with Bertie and Cedric I reckon we can beat them. Redmond in the free role behind Ings and Gabbi. Sent from my SM-G955F using Tapatalk
  7. I think McQueen is a better player at left back anyway. Sent from my SM-G955F using Tapatalk
  8. Harry Redknapp would keep us up. I cannot believe that I am suggesting him as a potential saviour but if he took the Birmingham job last season (and succeeded) he will take the Saints job for 8 games. Last hurrah for him and cancels out sending us down last time. He'd give the players a lift as well, despite being a twitchy skate c*nt. This is the level we are reduced to. 9. Not according to the bookies...they are seldom wrong. Dark days ahead... Sent from my SM-G955F using Tapatalk
  10. Yeah, when we're ground sharing with Eastleigh Town in two years he should really come into his own. He's the right man for the job... Sent from my SM-G955F using Tapatalk
  11. If only there was a manager (and backroom staff) available locally who has a history of keeping teams up who would take a short term contract and who owes us a favour...Can anyone think of a name? I think we'd take anyone else now wouldn't we? [emoji3] Sent from my SM-G955F using Tapatalk
  12. I would be very shocked if he doesn't make the England squad this summer. Especially with the current form of other English keepers and the injury list. He's been very solid and I genuinely think (if Pellegrino goes now and we stay up) we have a talented back 5. Stephens and Hoedt will make a good partnership if they're kept together, now the muppet has stopped switching them around. Sent from my SM-G955F using Tapatalk
  13. There is no plausible way to defend that record and I'm starting to think anyone who does has some affiliation with the club (on the payroll). I genuinely can't think of any other reason? I've not met anyone in person who wants him to stay? Pretty much any available options are an upgrade. Eriksen, Ince, Monk, Silva, Sol Campbell, Hiddink, Sherwood, Jaidi, Ted Bates, Howard the Duck, literally anyone. All more likely to keep us up than Muppet boy. Sent from my SM-G955F using Tapatalk
  14. In Reeds position perhaps? Not as manager though. Sent from my SM-G955F using Tapatalk
  15. Yep, what you said. Totally and utterly inept. We don't need draws we need victories. That game was there for the taking. Sent from my SM-G955F using Tapatalk
