  1. The result of this game is immaterial.
  2. Well at a guess I would imagine WGS was slightly concerned about the firepower of Arsenal's team which included Bergkamp, Henry, Pires and Ljundberg. They would have torn us to shreds in an open game.
  3. And if we play a strong side and get hammered and pick up injuries is it a risk worth taking? Don't get me wrong I get what you're saying about not wanting to lose 4 in a row. I guess you have to decide which is the more damaging scenario. For me it's another possible hammering of the first team and injuries to key players so I'd play a weakened side for this one.
  4. Play a team made up of fringe players and youngsters. There's nothing in this game for us so if they hammer us at least it won't be the team they may face at Wembley so no dent to our already frail confidence plus we don't want to risk injuries.
  5. Had high hopes when they took over but they've been an unmitigated disaster from day one with no signs that lessons are being learned. Rasmus is not even close to being as clever as he thinks he is which is a huge worry. Hope we appoint a new DoF with a bit of nous and knowledge about the game and some new ideas.
  6. Will not matter because Ipswich will surely manage at least a point at home to Huddersfield. Good luck to them - fully deserved and they have a coach with a bit of intelligence who knows how to swing momentum their way when needed - wish I could say the same about RM but he's the polar opposite.
  7. Meaningless game now. Damp squib in the end. Ipswich deservedly going up with Leicester.
  8. Come on - he genuinely believes Baz is one of the best.
  9. Nothing unlucky - RM backed Bazunu and tried to convince us he's among the best keepers in the division.
  10. Maybe because we keep selecting the wrong ones.
  11. The manager may be wrong but the squad definitely needs a reset. Less slow, small, feeble weaklings with no stamina and more big, powerful athletes who can tackle, jump and run for 90 minutes - if they can play a bit that's a bonus 🙂
  12. Forest struggling at the wrong end of the Prem but would probably hammer us if we played them. Gave City a good run for their money and Chris Woods missed two sitters.
  13. Bmuff are South Coast top dogs after beating Brighton 3-0. Used to be a position we dominated year after year.
  14. For reasons only known to RM Ryan Fraser has had very little game time of late and now needs to get up to match speed - unless he's been carrying a knock that is down to RM. Having seen what we get from Edozie and Sulemana I would hazard a guess that Fraser has nor been best pleased at having to kick his heels and watch the dross produced in the last few games. It is now down to RM to pick this squad up and instil some belief because they look broken and RM must take a large chunk of responsibility for that.We have been poorly managed at a crucial period in my opinion. We threw away the Cardiff game because, not for the first time, the manager failed to close the game down, we then got slaughtered at Leicester by letting them play exactly as they did at St Marys and yesterday should have been an easy opportunity to put on a convincing display against a poor side, get a win and rebuild confidence. A 3 game sequence where RM has again shown his obvious shortcomings.
