You have to look at the other relegation candidates. Who else other than Villa and Newcastle is showing real relegation form. Saints. Sadly it's just bloody goals. We bought in well I thought and even with our injuries I think we've still been a threat up front and we've dominated large parts of matches and yet we still switch off like freakin kids in a play ground. Where does that come from? Concentration is something you can train. There are only two players being tapped up and only one of those played yesterday so how is it the entire team switch off, drop off and allow teams to dominate? How? Because we haven't built on anything. Season after season we sell sell sell the ever increasing revolutions from the swing doors of this club means we don't bond anymore. Our centre back pairing has changed so much in two seasons nobody knows anybody else's game! Fortunately there is enough in our club to hold us together. Two recents promotions and last seasons achievements still leave us all with a sense of pride but alas that was then and this is now. Not sure playing wing backs would work, very defensive and do they have it in them to play such forward minded footy? Plus why go so experimental when there are like for like replacements from the U21 that haven't seen the light of day all season. We'll know exactly where we are if we lose to west brom and Watford. Palace in the cup....bit worried we'll just get embarrassed. Relegation? Maybe but I think we're better placed as a club financially than our previous relegation. Plus if we mess this season up i.e relegation then presumably that 5 year plan is truly out the window. It's all happening so quickly. I can't see how this is happening though. Yes Wanyama is a particularly nasty stain on the dressing room and yes Mane is a money grabbing child but that's 2 players. 2 children spitting out their dummies doesn't constitute a meltdown or at least transfer it so dramatically onto the pitch. So perhaps with that in mind, maybe Ronald is losing more of the dressing room? Let's not forget how ruthless he has been after certain performances. For some he has taken the blame, Liverpool springs to mind. But he has blasted the team publicly. If we're now in a dog fight the harsh words need to be coloured with far more constructive criticism.
