Really pleased for Ross Stewart to get his first goal for us 😊 lovely header from Fernandes corner. Charlie Taylor was superb considering that was his first appearance for several months. Makes it even more baffling to think that both Martin and Jurić didnt play him. All that knowhow and pl experience. Ramsdale made an amazing save in the first half. Having watched match of the day, how did we not get a penalty in the first half for what looked like a blatant handball from Sugawara's shot. At the time during the game some of our players were convinced it was a penalty. Yet another poor decision going against us this season.

Really dissapointing that we didn't start with a focal point today. As soon as Stewart came on we had that. He was really good, quick and sharp. We should have started with a back four in a game like today. Archer did well when he came on and both Robinson and Kayi Sanda impressive too.

We need a focal point that's why.

Kayi Sanda in the squad today 😊 Alfie House confirmed Bednarek has a minor injury today. Nothing serious. Annoying Onuachu isn't in the squad, he must have a knock too.

The way we were set up on Saturday was perfectly executed by Rusk and Lallana. To defend in a deep block and look for any quick counter possible. It worked really well. Everyone put a shift in, defensively we were superb. Welington (my MOTM), Stephens, Bednarek, Harwood-Bellis, Bree and Ramsdale were all superb 😊 Fernandes as usual class 😊 and Aribo was really good when he came on at half time 😊
