Do you know what, that's where I have been going wrong in my years working in sales. Rather than actually selling the product, I should just sit back and wait for the phone to start ringing... I'll sell lots more that way. Thanks for the advice genius.

Tickets are on sale, you would only know if you went on the official website. Come on, proper reasons... I have 10 good ones waiting... infact I am off out, so here you go. 1) The club waiting until June 1st before announcing prices. 2) The club have offerered renewals only a 30 day window in which to renew. 3) The club have not sent out any renewals. 4) The advertising on the Official Site has been minimal. 5) There has been NO advertising in the press/radio. 6) The club are making season tickets unavailable from the first game of the season. 7) The club have removed half-season tickets. The club have removed instalation plans for no apparant reason. 9) The club have not contacted their database through the FREE method of email or by text. 10) The club have risen the prices by 15% ---------------------------------------------------------------- There you go, there is 10, if you honestly look at all them reasons and STILL think that the club genuinely want as many season ticket holders as possible, then quite frankly, you are retarded.
-
Didn't we work out last time that you are about 12? Come on, give me some examples of the club pro-actively trying to encourage season ticket sales. It can't be that hard, surely?
-
I will post them when I get some reasons to the contrary. I have them ready and waiting. First, I would like people to give me some examples of how the club have shown they want season ticket holders next year.

Response from club re: Installment Plans

I know how much the coaches cost, and it wasn't anywhere near £25 Dulldays. It doesn't take a rocket scientist to know there is not £500 in costs for each coach that was hired. I admire your resistance to being able to accepting that there is another lie from the supporters charter. -

The Travel Club was advertised as a non-profit organisation and that is how the Wembley coaches were advertised. -
It wouldn't even take 2 days. They only need to write out the prices, send a link to the online booking etc - the club already have the system to send out to all opt-in customers on the database at the click of a button... it's the same database that the 'Saints Newsletter' gets sent out from.

Every club in the country sends them out Delldays. If it costs the clubs money then why does every single club in the country send them out. I look forward to your answer.

Liability Insurance falls at the hands of the coach company, regardless who books it, I would be certain of that. Seriously mate, I admire your love of all things SFC and Cortese, but the reality is the coaches would have cost them no more than £15 per head ( one of my coaches was just over £10 a head it was a banger though ), meaning they had £10 per person profit, for simply sending out a ticket. Stewards who go on the coaches do it for free in exchange for a ticket for the match ( or at least that is how it always used to be ) . And also don't forget it was just So, let's say that the top end of the scale, £15 a head ( which allows for £2-£3 a head administration ) , the club make £10 a head on Travel Club seats. By my sums that netted the club a cool £50,000 profit for Wembley. Niiiiiice. -
No you plank, that is someone who has principles and will not hand over £400 to a business, whatever business that might be when the club can't even be @rsed to send out a renewal notice to their members. There are many many people like that.
-
No, because you have 15,000 f*cking posts on an internet forum. EVERY CLUB IN THE COUNTRY SENDS OUT RENEWAL PACKS Why is this DellDays?
-
Woosh. Do you seriously not think the club is trying to sell as few season tickets as possible? If so, do you have any proof or examples of how they are trying to sell them? I can give you maybe 10 reasons as examples as why they are NOT looking to have season tickets next season.
-
It's called advertising DullDays. Seriously, every club in the land send out renewal notices. Not everyone is an uber-fan like you. They simply MUST work and not be a waste of money, otherwise please explain to me why clubs, even ones in administration, p!ss money down the wall sending them out?
-
They could send renewal reminders and new season ticket details by email, text, through the local press, radio adverts, or by mail, they could have even pushed them in the last few games of the season, on big screens, at half-time, capture their target audience. I really am completely amazed that people cannot piece together all the information and see ( which is absolutely clear as day ) that the club do not want season ticket holders next year. I don't think everyone can be so stupid, so can only put it down to the 'Cortese is our saviour' blind loyalty that some fans seem to have.
-
Ahh yes, you and Cortese are right and every other club in the country that DOES send out renewals are wrong. You're blinded love for everything Cortese is sickening. Oh and for the record, printing 13,000 renewals would be approximately the cost of 2 or 3 season tickets, especially considering they have an ongoing agreement with a printers already. So as long as 2 people renewed because of the renewal reminder. Some people remain undecided whether to get a season ticket, these are the people who a renewal reminder might just sway them into renewing. Funnily enough, once again, as you fail to be able to put yourself in other peoples shoes. SFC is not a big deal to everyone, lots of businesses have season tickets for their employees etc and some people just generally won't be sure whether they will renew or not. Seriously, what is it with your complete 100% blinded love for Cortese?
-
I have done a million times you plank. Go through my post history, all the answers and explanations are there.
-
I hope for your employers sake that you don't work in sales.
-
I am not saying that people can't get access to the internet if they WANT to you plank, I am saying that renewal packs work as a reminder for fans and are also an advertising tool. Not every season ticket holder will just renew regardless, and not every Saints fan that had a season ticket last year will renew, and they WILL lose season ticket holders purely for not sending out renewal packs which will help capture some of the 'undecided' potential renewals. Are you really that stupid and single-minded that some people don't look at Saints in the same what that you do? Everything SFC have done the last few weeks is a deliberate attempt to ensure there are as few season ticket holders as possible. The club do not want many season ticket holders. Do you agree with this?
-
No, you hide from the safety of your PC disagreeing with pretty much anything that anyone says, being pedantic and generally being a bit of a **** trying to be the funny man. It's pretty obvious the point I am making.
-
Are you stating that as a FACT? That's a pretty wild statement. All of you people in the Saintsweb bubble seem to think that all Saints fans log onto here every day, check the Saints website every day, go to work and talk about Saints all day every day and save up and pay upfront each and every year without question.
-
You really are a grade A tosser. 70% of the UK have internet access at home. It's pretty obvious that the point I am trying to make? But know, you carry on with your pedantic bullsh!t from the safety of your PC.
-
Once again you have shown yourself to be completely incapable of putting yourself in other peoples shoes. There might not be any excuse for the super fans to renew... what part of 'not every season ticket holder is a super fan where everything in their life revolves around Saints' don't you get? There WILL be people who rely on a renewal pack to remind/motivate them to renew, don't be so thick to think there will not.
-
That doesn't change the fact that if someone does not use a computer, or indeed read the Saints website, then they would not have access to the details. Funnily enough DD, not EVERYONE had access to a computer, so they are relying on a percentage of their membership to phone up the club, get the details over the phone and then pay up? That is just complete f*cked up marketing and not how it would happen at any football club who want to sell season tickets. Not just that, but unlike saddos like you and me, many people, infact the majority, Saints are no more than a hobby on a Saturday afternoon, so there WILL be people who need a reminder about season tickets or simply won't bother.

Oh look, there's another person who doesn't even live in the f*cking country, let alone have a season ticket who has an opinion on the subject. -

I forgot to add that into my predictions. I also predict there will be no 'open' fans forum, and it will be a 1 hour interview with Cortese with questions cherry picked for Cortese to answer. There is absolutely no chance of an open fans forum.
