Steve Grant is good friends with a few of the staff at the Echo. So Echo going to print at 11pm I would say is spot on. Season ticket prices were announced at 11:10pm New kit was announced at 11:10pm I am not going to ruin this thread with anti-Cortese so will leave it at this... but it really is f*cking childish and not just that, it's f*cking selfish to the people not lucky enough to have an internet connection who rely on their local press to find out all things Saints.

The kit looks alright. Are you not in agreement that leaving announcements till 11pm at night just to p!ss of the Echo is slightly childish? Wake up and smell the coffee a bit.

Is that seriously why all the news comes out at that time? That is pathetic and childish really. Oh well, the kit looks nice, I will wait till it is half price at the end of the season and buy one to put in the draw.

There are so many persona's on here though, that it doesn't give a true reflection of Saints fans feelings. I think it is more of a case to have someone to go to the club/paper and say " Hey, we are not fakkin happy at not having installment plans " ( for example ) and putting more pressure on the club having to respond. ( Not that I think they will, it has been 10 days since complaints about ST's hit their email and not a wimper )

I think alot of people don't want a spokesperson because they are jealous and don't want someone else getting the glory. I personally couldn't give a fook, as long as the organisation they claim to be chairman/spokesman for exists and they don't ask to sit in on board meetings etc.

Errr... It clearly states on the article that "The Saints Trust have handed The Daily Echo the following statement" ..... How many of his 'members' ( lol ) did he consult about this? So it clearly states that Nick contacted the Echo... go figure... Having said that, on this one particular subject, the more the merrier if it means putting more pressure on SFC

To be fair to Steve, when representing the Saints Trust etc I have seen him give interviews which are not views of himself, but those of the majority etc... If he was used more then I am sure he would speak as an overview of opinion on the boards, as to his own personal opinion. Having said that, he might not want to. I still cannot believe that in the Echo today it states the Saints Trust have 1000 members. I'm off to get a copy and frame it.

There doesn't need to be a representative as such, as in an individual... just a closer link with the Echo so that stories are not published from one individual claiming to represent 1000 members. Just Steve Grant giving the press/media a true reflection of what the feeling of the fans is on various issues. However if some people want to set up a social commitee so I can meet Once Bitterne and punch the little c*nt in the face, I'm all for it.
