  1. I suggest we "blend" experience with youth not rely on young lads who are clearly not yet ready for the demands of this very physical league. Is there another team in the CCC that is relying as heavily on youth as we are?
  2. It was you that used the term "get on his back" So should we get on the coach`s back then as it is him (Allegedly) who is selecting a grossly underperforming player but you don`t agree with that either do you? So lets all just sit around quietly after paying our admission fee and accept whatever is dished up with out question shall we?
  3. We had four strikers on but not 4 up front, even then we were 3 down by the time the change occured. We need to start as a 4 -4 -2.
  4. We are on a downward spiral and if we continue like we are it will gather pace. So we can "get on the backs" of experienced players then but not young ones then? Do we not take in to account ability then? J Wright amongst others was castigated by lots on here for being poor but he was playing in a role which was not his natural position but because he was "experienced" that was ok...double standards.. If the player, what ever his age is in the team he has to expect critisism that is part of football and always will be,he cannot be wrapped in cotton wool.
  5. It worries me big time because unlike you i don`t feel that the way we are heading (too much youth, not enough experience) will see us ok but will lead us to relegation. We simply are not strong enough for this league in our current style.
  6. That line is exactly right the system we play week in week out will NOT work enough over the course of the season, so as you say we were better after the changes, then why will JP revert to type for the next game?
  7. Why? So we are only allowed to praise them then? He needs to be dropped as he is clearly poor at the moment and then perhaps he might learn something along the lines of giving a bit more effort and to track back to help our full back. Countless times against Norwich and Coventry he did just the opposite and left 2 on 1 .
  8. We will get mullered by Reading... I guess you mean Birmingham as the best side, i don`t agree but it`s all about opinions and mine is that Reading are the best side.
  9. McGoldrick is totally overrated and overplayed. He is not a wide player at all and is on a good day a very average striker. It is just the mangement that cannot see it.
  10. OH dear!! Yes we were beaten by a better team, a team low on confidence having, i believe not won in 8 and that does not worry you.... What are the highly confident and more accomplished teams such as Reading going to us?....... i dread to think
  11. Maybe but if the feeling coming out of the club is that "they are not overly concerened " then we are in big trouble.
  12. "Poortvliet is not overly concerned" Pasted from his os verdict Does that worry anyone else like it does me?
  13. Maybe beating our relegtion contenders is the best we can hope for:( because if we don`t....
  14. Not all of us mate.
  15. Lightweight, too many kids, toothless etc:( All been said before.... But bring on the "positives"...blah blah blah!!! Where is Nick H ?
  16. Wait for all the "positves" with rose tinted glasses to tell us it will be ok, we are improving and must be patient...Blah Blah Blah. When the fact is we are not strong enough for this league. I believe this Coventry team have not one in 8 and are low on confidence and we turn up and offer up this dross and make it easy for them.
  17. 4 - 1 and we deserve it..... Poor almost everywhere on the pitch except for DAVIS who has had not chance.
  18. Thats the key, but as we all know anything of quality will have to go to cut cost and bring in money.
  19. When will the management realise it cannot be done with too may kids?
  20. True,its the miss-management
  21. I hope not...
  22. Give it time...
  23. Straws being clutched at!!!!
