You could be onto something but I am so confused over all this now I am not sure who is telling the truth and even if i know what the truth looks like anymore. I just do not understand why he had any reason to lie. Having said that it is only you pointing out it was their chairman and not Howe, which does change this slightly. Why the hell would he say he was offered the job for? He would just say he went for an interview but decided against it to stay a the cherries.
