Because of the way I feel right now I found the replies quite funny and sum up what being a Saints fan at this moment is all about - will there be a team come August 8th at 12.45 for all the SMS and Sky viewers to watch..........it really really is a mad day, week past couple of months, years since Feb 2004.....can we start to believe in anything anymore.....?

Personally, I would accept the 10 points deduction, buy the club tomorrow and get on with sorting out pre season, season ticket sales and many many other things that need sorting before we play Milwall in just over seven/eight weeks time.. it is not a long time is it ? If we are up and running for their visit to SMS then the ten points will be quickly won back on the playing field......if we are not sorted on the field come the start of the season I can see us "throwing away" ten points on the pitch that we have "won" back in the courts. It is not my money, agreed, but for the good of Southampton FC, the employees and fans who are desperate to move forward Wednesday 24th has to be the last day of takeovers and such discussions. If not I am watching Wimbledon for two weeks and will not come back to this website until that is all over as I cannot stand the tension !!

So Jan has finally been replaced and we now have a new man in charge of the team. Reading Wilde's statement this morning I was pleased to see that he had bothered to say something unlike his no show at the AGM but then I thought why Mr Wilde and not Mr Lowe or simply "club statement" making further comment. When Jan joined was it not Mr Lowe who was so closely associated with the decision and all over the official website talking about it. How times change. At least our next game is away and not until Tuesday so there is time to get some focus before we play football. Ths website will be busy all weekend though me suspects...
