all depends on how they come out. If it's adventurous and attacking, high pressure great. If it's slow, keep it tight, Ralph is tactical genius by concentrating on second half, we'll get tonked.
Southampton XI vs Everton: Bazunu; Walker-Peters, Bella-Kotchap, Caleta-Car, Larios; Ward-Prowse, Maitland-Niles; Aribo, S Armstrong; Mara, Adams #saintsfc
Going for it. Good.
Tony Cascarino on Talksport reckons Everton will get ‘a result’ today and is disappointed with us over the past two games. Also that Ralph will be under pressure if we lose, as Alex Crook has mentioned. Last time he predicted this kind of thing I reported it on here and there was a lot of flak. I think he’s right again and I hope that if the worst does happen today that at least it will precipitate getting rid of our turgid and ineffective manager.
Or I if we win he’s a genius.
Sometimes I think that Ralph's bizarre selections - not picking his best players - are so he always has an excuse for his own failings. It's come to that. Lose to Everton (I can see that happening) and I hope we finally get rid of him. Leicester look like they are hovering over Thomas Frank as replacement for Rodgers (judging by betting) so it might be wise to act quickly. Our patience with Ralph is a bit mysterious given the appalling record of last season and up and down performances this (after the honeymoon period when new players play less like they used to and more under Ralph's stultifying influence)
