Let`s not forget though, that for most of RL`s "reign" the fans accepted him and his arrogance, whilst things were going comparatively well for the club. It was when things started to fall down after the FA Cup Final, and his percieved lack of ambition (not strengthening the team to move on to "the next level" and losing Strachan) that the fans really turned against him.
