  1. I will never forget him calling Priti Patel an immigrant. Could only be because of the colour of her skin - the fecking daft racist
  2. Sunderland had more disruption last week than 2 bids form saints for injured players
  3. OK, other than the one post that was locked immediately, unsure anyone, let alone collectively, has demanded or suggested "Martin out"
  4. Has the forum decided it wants Martin out?
  5. That is f-ing funny 🤣
  6. Totally agree. This is our best line up and could roll over most if we deploy less wide-open tactics
  7. Djimi Traore won the Champions League. The streets dont forget these players
  8. Yes, talksport the other night.
  9. Semmens also said that Che is not the type to down tools and is like JwP in being a brilliant professional.
  10. If it was Ralph's judgement. Martin was on the radio the other night and said with Ralph and their time together at Saints, Ralph did not have the final say on new signings and contracts
  11. Very true. As said the other day, watching Luton on telly was like 'what could have been' My god
  12. I think Charles has to start at CM with a more organised defence in front of and around him. Charles is a big lad who is good on the ball, and designed to sit in front of a couple of CBs also, simply leaving massive gaps between our FBs and CBs constantly is madness, as we have seen. I get the point of possession at the rear and middle 3rd’s, it brings their players out of their shape (or should do). But that is pointless if we do not quickly exploit that and make their midfielders/defenders face their own goal. I guess we will see the cut of RMs cloth with the next 2 home games.
  13. Earns his new deal playing a couple of good games at LB… a few million quid for that. Cheers Martin Semmens
  14. I think he is an awful commentator. Tries to be all shakaspearial about everything. Quite something hearing the United camp cry about VAR…. FML
  15. Never a penalty at Arsenal. Good VAR’ing
  16. Karen Brady on the radio this morning talking all things West Ham. Stated that JwP was the No.1 target very early for their manager, and Moyes is the one who identifies players with his team and scouts and then the discussions start. She also suggested that Saints wanted A LOT for JwP and it was Saints who contacted West Ham and made the deal (by lowering their demands upfront and overall). On the flip side, Semmens on the radio the other night stated that with Ralph, the manager did NOT have the final say on transfers as he was just part of the committee....which I found strange.
  17. This is not working out, sadly. He is letting in the about the same amount
  18. Just wait till Ross Stewart is fit. Will he play him CM?
  19. probably right to be fair. There if course a chance he is not here by this game 😞
  20. Bit of a way off but the game at Sunderland is food for thought. This is first of 2 big home games in a few days, and against one of the follow 'big heads' in the league. If we remain ridiculously open, we will ship goals against this lot (and ipswich). No more excuses about players having their minds elsewhere, it is the same for most other clubs (including Leicester). My team... Bazunu KwP, THB, Bednarek, Manning Charles, Downes A.Armstrong, Alcaraz, Fraser Adams Subs - Lumley/McCarthy, Holgate, Bree, Smallbone, Edozie, SAA, S.Armstrong, Aribo, Sully (if they are all still here, which will probably not be the case) Yes, I would have A.Armstrong wide. He is decent there and works extremely hard forwards and back and has an eye for goal. We have to inject much more tempo into our build up and old choco-wrists has to stop letting in soft goals.
  21. Absolutely stealing a living. Still dining out on a pass against Leeds and a goal against Man City. Woeful player and hope he is one of those Wilcox mentions who could still leave. Has a fit mum though, so not all bad.
  22. Madness IMO
  23. The first time we were heavily beaten in our last promotion season (I know that is not an exact equivalence), we lost 3-0 away to Brighton (didnt we go down to 10 men?)...we then only lost 1 of the following 14 games.. There is no way this team, being this wide open, will match that. We have the tools to fix this and fix this immediately. Let see/hope we do.
