  1. FCDO did not overrule vetting recommendation, No.10 were “dismissive” of the findings. guess more sackings from within about to take place.
  2. In comparison, Downs is so bad he needs to be shielded from the team in Germany.
  3. When you say we, are you on about the players or fans?
  4. Yeah, he has hardly played lately, and likely to be up against Semenyo 😆
  5. Peretz, Bree, THB, Stephens, Manning, Bragg, Charles, Matsuki, Fellows, Archer, Larin Wellington to get 20+ mins, Wood to come on, Edozie to get mins, and probably Stewart for Larin on the hour as per.
  6. They still have a game in hand???
  7. That is a good result. Ipswich have 3 seats on the spin now
  8. Going to be about 6 changes again. reckon wellington will get 20 mins or so
  9. Was the beautiful run 2 years ago better, where the players trained like beasts to achieve it and in such a style, better. Or this one where we are not afraid to go long when it suits 2 different managers, 2 different hairstyles, 2 different uses of the squad. Not even looked at the points when comparing but the current run is miles better, probably have more points in fewer games.
  10. Baz is “fine” for the Championship
  11. Thought it was not our day 20 mins in, Swansea are a smart outfit but that is unreal. Dug in and won it at the death. Playoffs secured, now hope Ipswich don’t win. Fair play to Archer, what a week he has had
  12. never in doubt 😁
  13. this appears to be 1 game too far.
  14. Remember the days Alfie House (and the odd poster here) would rudely dismiss the concerns anyone had about playing such a terrible system (3/5 at the back), to claim it is not about the formation.
  15. I think we are going to get our arses handed to us. Be interesting as to the approach if we are within 2 points of 2nd as this game kicks off
  16. The hollowing out starting before the last 14 years, so no need to just stop there.
  17. He is not wrong though. I, wrongly, used to state we would be all done and dusted over a bad weekend against a near peer advisory. the last few weeks suggest we would not even make it to the weekend. the current Labour government cannot be blamed totally for the state of the forces, but they have some blame, and with the previous government, despite the talk, defence is simply no where near a priority.
  18. if we go up, we need a much stronger spine. Peretz (or Ramsdale) fix the keeper problem, Charles may grow into the CM role, but we need a much better striker. Sunderland went up and brought some monsters..we bought BBD last time!
  19. Just catching the read-out from the Southport Inquiry. Pretty Damning of the continued failures with intervention, and they seem very obvious. Largely blaming his parents, with various authorities not far behind. Basically, Parents continually obstructed authorities getting involved, and when they did, the authorities acted appallingly (if at all)
  20. Did he talk about how Pelligrino played exciting attacking football?
  21. I bet there are few who would, in hindsight, want to have "stuck with him no matter what", as THB, Manning and co are the problem
  22. because he was/is an appalling manager
  23. it smacks of a squad full of quality for this league, and certainly no where near the "relegation" standard many suggested before xmas
  24. Derby have defended very well to be fair, whilst we seem slow to get the ball into the dangerous parts of the final 3rd, and/or getting more players into the box to occupy their CBs
  25. Have seen the goals a few times, and how that was deemed not a foul by Moore for their goal is quite something.
