What is it this season with being very average in so many first 45 mins? It is killing us....we have been lucky that the club can field better players than most, but next season will be a rude awakening if something does not fundamentally change.

The board didn’t back the manager. are you really suggesting that after what happened end of last season?

We are generally crap in the first half of most games and our away form is shite unless that changes significantly we are not going up at all

He had a contract, he stayed during his contract, we clearly did not want him in the premier league...hence why we left it till the last min to sign him up... Little loyalty shown by the club.....

as mentioned in the match thread...he did fuck all, offered zero threat and barely, if at all, kept the ball up top. There was on time where he played a quick pass forward to Downes in the attacking 3rd, Downes stretched, missed it a fell.....As WBA broke into our half (and running right past Mubama), he just strolled around and did not chase back and cover for Downes (who got up, ran back and gobbed off to Divin)... Absolutely woeful performance, and he will never make it (at this club) with this level of effort.

We simply have to fix that in January...or at least try to....just sticking with what we have is not good enough for top 2...not with Larin's inability to play 3 times a week.

FT 1-1 Firstly, a cracking game..proper Championship football. WBA are a very good side... As much as they were the better side in the 1st half, we were in the 2nd....both sides had great chances/positions to win the game... Downes was my MoM...he ran everywhere. Edozie was shite (despite scoring a tap in) and Mubama was fucking appalling,....

WBA should have done better there.....3 on 2
