As he's not yet been announced I'm hopeful Tarkowski might sign (but I know its 95% Everton!!!). But someone of his ilk is probably required.
Oh wait, you said ilk... 🙂
I imagine we're actively pursuing another CB. Any of Salisu, Bednarak or Stephens could be on their way. If Simeu can make the step up next season, then great. If not, then we may need another signing. The pathway means we'd be selling in the future too, so Simeu can still progress here, even if it takes a bit longer.

Another good thing about both having the resources to bring new faces in, and the team to get deals over the line early, is that it puts some pressure on the players who we are now looking to move on.
They will see the new, preferred, faces coming into their positions. They will see their minutes vanish. They are perhaps that bit more likely to push their agents for a move. We can then thank them for their service and hope for a better season ahead.

At least he'll be able to talk about football with David Icke, when they are on book tours, at conventions and evading the reptilian global elite, together.

Saints are a bit odd. It’s like they have read one of the threads on here and said ‘right they want keepers’ 😂
Time for us all to post we want Lewandowski then. 🙂

I see Lucy Bronze has signed for Barcelona
Top move. She had been with Lyon for a few trophy winning years and City had a difficult start to the season due to injuries. Barca beat Lyon in the Champions League last season, so she's kept right at the top.

I've had to give up on the OS as the official source of contract info as it is wholly unreliable. There are some reports from usually reliable sources that Willy has signed an extension of one year.
It would be a decent option. I thought he improved in his second game, and he has bags of experience.

If he makes more than 5 first team appearances in 5 years I'll eat my own arsehole........
Could well be. The other bit of my post about Sport Republic picking up potentially profitable deals, and with a stable of clubs through which to play them, if not directly loan them elsewhere.
He may well be playing more than 5 games in 5 years, somewhere in the Sport Republic group. But I know you meant us, so I'll not hold you to that. I'd not have held you to that under any circumstances. 🙂
Identify player with some key/required attributes... add to those through systemised cross club training within the group... use clubs within the group to find best fit for player... play him with a view to making a profit.

Eh??
As that was under mine, I just meant that although it seems to be an unlikely signing, the recruitment team may well have seen specific things in his game that we need. That's what the very analytics driven clubs are doing. They might think he's already got things we want, and that others can be improved upon. It's a low cost, potentially decent profit signing.

Me neither, but it’s (likely to be) a low cost gamble and an opportunity it’s to see if he can be a step up on Harry Lewis and therefore actually reasonable enough as our third choice keeper.
Could be. If we're following the analytics model that Brentford used with Ankersen, it could be they've seen things others have not. So, we may see some low fee left field signings. Or we've got to start our player farm somewhere. 🙂

I don't recall seeing any of the cavemen dojng handstands. Need to watch it again though, been a while.
Kubrick was well known for getting rid of anything not used in the film. But a small section of film evaded this, showing the two cavemen tribes doing warm ups before their battle, with budgie parrying projectiles.

Not that I've seen, but we do seem to have got in a job lot of keepers today, so you never know.

When you make a joke, someone chips in with their own ‘joke’ which is basically explaining what you’ve just said and thinks they’re the one being funny.
This, but extended to when they get the laugh/ smiley face etc. Extends to work where someone essentially repeats what you've said as if it's something they've just thought of. Compounded, again, if there's any praise for that.

Thought he would have got in the top 100 Golden Boy nominations. Scrolled through the list but no sign.
All sounds a bit creepy. Not a search I want on my browser history. 🙂

He is not top six material at all and would not be a regular starter for any of them, he is not fast enough or clever enough to oust the myriad of world class midfielders at those clubs. His alleged dead ball kicking brilliance is of scant benefit to clubs that do not rely on set pieces to win matches. His level is Wolves, WHU, Leicester or even Villa but no higher.
If he was better than that Saints would not be languishing near the bottom of the table year after year.
I always thought that about Le Tissier. Here's a player who'd found his level, I thought. He must have, because we've just escaped the drop again. If he was better, we'd be higher. No top club will be interested in him. 🙂

I generally prefer ale, having drank lager before. But some of that is finding ales I like and trying new ones out. Like whiskey, what I thought I'd like isn't what I ended up liking. There's a number of pubs near me that have the same ale, and it's not great. So happy enough to have some lager then. Regardless of the drink, it helps to have something you like and not bore people senseless with your reasoning behind it. 🙂
