Their u18s finished rock bottom of the North section, compared with our u18s winning theirs. Also given their spending power now, any pathway to the first team would be alot more difficult than here
Taking their position as an indicator of their youth setup, would joining them give him financial benefit, but at a possible cost of as much development? Or does he see even his short term future at another age group combined with senior squad level?

Plus ralph has a specific request to work with younger players so not sure that this experience angle aligns with his philosophy
ย I'm generally a bit skeptical about that sort of statement from Ralph. When tight resources gave us a small squad, he wanted a small squad. Yet when injuries hit and the depth was poor, it was a larger one. When the club's plan is to nab players about to break through from top academies, he wants to focus on youth players. I'm sure if the club's plan brought in Modric, Ronaldo, Messi and Lewandowski, he'd not find it against his footballing principles. ๐

I guess the problem with the voting system out there is that despite there being a gaping (and increasing) hole between left and right, no-one is likely to fill it anytime soon. It needs someone to come and park their bus on the centre ground. ย Actually we could do with something like that here too probably
Perhaps California resident Nick Clegg could inspire, although not lead, a liberally democratic movement that would heal the divides in both our nations.ย ๐

When did it become acceptable for big companies to keep you on hold for over an hour?
Imagine going to a shop and being told to stand outside until they decide you can come in?
And the music, it sounded like Sooty on acid playing some sort of experimental jazz funk on his organ, looped over a hundred times.
Just finding the correct contact number through the maze of FAQs, smart yet thick automated question screens, web chat that doesn't work and contact us pages that go back to one of the above.

I stopped being apprehensive about relegated players when we brought in Paul Telfer and Paul Williams under Strachan.

What a strange decision.ย Probably the same people demanding that abortions are illegal want to ensure everyone has access to automatic rifles!
The fewer abortions, the more people. The more people, the more available targets in your NRA encouraged killing spree. ๐

Nope. Only unless he wanted to leave and it was affecting his performances.

Just mental, they honestly do more to protect an embryonic collection of cells than a child at school.
The NRA are now working on a method of arming the embryos against abortionists. ๐

I generally prefer ale, having drank lager before. But some of that is finding ales I like and trying new ones out. Like whiskey, what I thought I'd like isn't what I ended upย liking. There's a number of pubs near me that have the same ale, and it's not great. So happy enough to have some lager then. Regardless of the drink, it helps to have something you like and not bore people senseless with your reasoning behind it. ๐

As he's not yet been announced I'm hopeful Tarkowski might sign (but I know its 95% Everton!!!). But someone of his ilk is probably required.
Oh wait, you said ilk... ๐
I imagine we're actively pursuing another CB. Any of Salisu, Bednarak or Stephens could be on their way. If Simeu can make the step up next season, then great. If not, then we may need another signing. The pathway means we'd be selling in the future too, so Simeu can still progress here, even if it takes a bit longer.
