I'd have thought we'd be parting with ABK and Salisu before Lyanco. Very possibly Bednarek and Stephens (to B'Mouth) too. They're no way of knowing when offers are going to come in for anyone, but I was seeing him getting matches next season. If he's keen to leave, and the offer suits us then fine. But if he'd like to stay, I'd rather him than a few others who clearly don't.

They should have just left the spokesperson outside, to see if that made it a bit clearer.

So, despite this step, things these people consider to be inconveniences, like truth and justice, may mean we never know the truth and they may never get what they deserve.

All parties will have an understanding that he moves on when the right offer comes in, and that we're a club looking to provide a pathway to bigger clubs. So, he's open enough about a move, but if it's not this summer is happy enough to wait. It's a statement that reminds clubs that there's interest, while making it clear he's not being dragged kicking and screaming to us next season. He kept the right balance in there.
