  1. It was only a criticism insofar as that it's not his character to grab the team by the scruff of the neck. Indeed, I pointed out that he worked harder as that is his natural reaction to the situation the team was in. It's just that that was not what was required in a time of struggle. I would welcome him back but I don't feel he has to come back eith the armband being a precondition
  2. IMO, he was not a good captain in a side that drifted and struggled. Instead of leading and getting more from the players, he just tried to do more of the work.. which ultimately took away from his own play. He was a terrific player for us, but he is not a leader. We just didn't have an alternative (or one they were prepared to entrust with the armband [cough, Romeu])
  3. JWP would be a no-brainer, if available at the right price and terms.
  4. There can't be that many in the first 3 priority cohort windows surely? How many season tickets holders are there? 20,000 tops?
  5. And Bob used to be ahead of you with an armful of membership cards for what seemed like half of Hampshire! 😀
  6. Has the club created a problem with members eligible to buy tickets before those with a previous purchase history? What is to stop tickets falling into the wrong hands?
  7. I contacted the club about this but have not had a response. The home kit with the Starling Bank sponsor seemed to be very popular... I wouldn't mind finding out the sales figures. It does feel like a trick has been missed not to sell away & 3rd kits with the option of having the non-gambling sponsor on it.... the Starling sponsor logo also looks much better too.
  8. It's a shame the club do not appear to have released a Starling Bank (womens team) version of the away & 3rd choice kits. The home shirt appears to have been quite the success for those that i) don't want a betting company on the front or ii) don't actually like how the betting company logo looks on the shirt.
