People forget the chances we missed at 0-0 we were in total cruise control until they scored on 60 (ish) mins. Wasn’t a four nil game, we had a literal clown in goal.

Fucking rubbish that is. A sparse away end would look utterly terrible. Looking at previous years we only get 2000 away tickets to Middlesborough in playoffs. That what Villa had, so hopefully a few of these don’t bother with that so I’ve a chance with a ticket. Done every game since Xmas but hardly any on my membership.

Anyone got tickets but not going? Or are we all full steam ahead for Preston.

Flynn Downes is our best centre midfield player. I’m delighted he’ll be back for the playoffs. Nobody runs through our midfield quite as easy with him in there with Casper. Hopefully Stephens and Matsuki both back as well.

Huge game. Finishing 4th and having Boro in the second leg at Home is MASSIVE. They’ve hit some form of late, and they have players that could hurt us. Can see any result in them v Wrexham. But they did better against Ipswich than we did. Very tough games await. I’d like 4th, first legs tend to be more cagey.

Just back from the game. I’m still backing us for automatics. Let me explain my theory. Ipswich - can’t see them beating West Brom. Feel good factor at WBA and last home games always have a carnival feel to it. Milwall - The pressure isn’t on them at the moment but it will be at Leicester on Friday, eyes of the world on them. It’ll be to much and Leicester will come out and try and show a bit of fight and character as they’re all being questioned. So by that reckoning we’ll have a chance on the final day if we beat Ipswich ourselves. I’ve got faith. Blind faith. Maybe call it optimism. All is not lost yet.

Bristol City, biggest of the season. I can see us being in top 2 come the end of the evening tomorrow. Nearly a sell out as well, hopefully shift the last 3/400 more by tomorrow On course for a sell out for Ipswich - less than a few hundred remaining for that. .

Weirdly having city not sell out, and Saints players seeing our ‘yellow wall’ in good voice could give us an extra 0.something%. If we win this game I do think we’ll win the tournament. I’m basically looking for any leg up or reason to feel optimistic that I can find.

I’m going to post in here as it seems the semi final has distracted the fan base. Praying the players aren’t as distracted.

The self entitlement of season ticket holders / members is honestly so annoying. The club has to set some rules, those paying the most to the club deserve the tickets first. End of. They can’t and never will be able to please everyone. I had a season ticket for 15 years, then started managing a good level of football ( kept it for some of the years ) so stopped. I got a membership when I left my latest job and have been to every game since January. If I missed out on a ticket then so be it, I didn’t get one for Brighton away year we went up from league one and still managed to end up cuddling Jose first on the running track. Shut up and get on with it. Basically.

Very easy to find, one quick glance at the tickets site you can see how many unsold. People being skint is fine, we should have more than enough others that aren’t. Disappointing for the players to see a half empty chapel. IMO.

Just to be clear, that’s what I expect him to do. Not what I’d do. Azaz won’t start, it’ll be Charles. Stephens has to miss one game, I expect this and/or Bristol City. He might keep Jander for Bragg and Scienza for Edozie. I just think he’ll view this as the one to make changes. Let’s see.

Really disappointed by ticket sales for this game. Honestly, this is the best we’re ever going to get it and we’ll be lucky to have 27,000 in the crowd. Back in the premier league days we’d sell blocks of the away support unsold just to see us scrape 13th. Anyway… after a small sample sizing of the chapel on Saturday ( taking my youngest ) me and the eldest who’ll be sneaking out of school early to make the 7 hour round trip will be in the knightwood lounge for this one. Hope for some late interest in the game, the players deserve it. Larin, Wellington, Matsuki, Charles, Wood, Bragg, & Edozie to come in I suspect. 50/50 on Bragg, Wood/Wellington. Peretz, Bree, THB, Wood, Wellington, Downes, Bragg, Charles, Matsuki, Edozie, Larin.

When does it go on sale to members?

You know this isn’t FIFA and players are generally as quick as each other in each division? Clearly the prem players on average are quicker but they aren’t all Olympic sprinters. Also as a point in reference, he ran away from Fulham’s back 4 on numerous occasions at Craven Cottage. I’d snap him up for the premier league 100%

Ipswich won’t win either of the next two games. They’ll lose/draw at Norwich. I also think the skates have turned a corner, they’ll see this as a huge opportunity to climb away from danger. if we win both of our next two and they get 1/2 points it’s on. If they get 4/6 regardless of what we do it won’t be enough. So by this time next week we’ll know.

I’d start Scienza, Stewart, Matsuki as the front three Saturday. All have a goal in them at the moment. Midfield can’t change nor the back 4, looks like we’re heading towards a sell out. As we should be. Hopefully people get behind this team in the three midweekers …. The last one felt flat with next to no away fans and a sparse chapel / kingsland corner. Taking my two year old in the chapel Saturday via level one so at least a couple of us making some noise from that end. Enjoy this fellas, it’s never been this good.
