I agree, but my first message would be to compete and challenge for every ball in the first 15 minutes of the 2nd half. I think this team has forgotten that you have to win the right to dominate a match through effort and winning your 50-50s. Often, it appears that we think we can just pass a team to death without doing the hard yards, the dirty stuff.

Can you recover from a lack of talent?

I was really looking forward to watching Edwards after the rave reviews he attracted at QPR and the reviews whilst he was at Peterborough. Unfortunately, I was really underwhelmed. He is too short to be a commanding CB in the air which means that he has to compensate with speed and ability on the ball and decision making. However, he didn’t look particularly fast (struggled to catch up with Keiffer Moore and had to resort to giving away a penalty) and didn’t look comfortable on the ball. I couldn’t match what I was watching with the glowing reviews of his play for other clubs. I think a parting of the ways is best for Saints, the player and QPR.

Manning definitely needs to be replaced, whether from inside or outside the club. One of the worst defenders I have had the displeasure to watch.

I am so fucked off with this club. We continue with 3 CBs even though our defending is awful. We have continued with Bazunu for 3 seasons even though he is a truly dreadful keeper. We continue with Manning even though he can't defend. We continue with Jack Stephens as a captain even though he is an ever present in a terrible defence. So, he can't even lead a back 4. We continue not to buy a proper number 9 even though everyone knows we need one. Fuck off Sports Republic, you have presided over 3.5 seasons of mediocrity, leaving us struggling in a league below you acquired the club.
