Funnily enough, I did check myself before posting that. In the back of my mind, I seem to remember an obscure 80s band that went under that name, but couldn't find anything.
-
I fully qualified myself there, thanks. Do you want me to use smaller words?
-
At worst, I'll have jumped to a conclusion which is based on an Internet username, your previous form for fishing behaviour ( I refer the jury to the case of Papa Lazarou ) and the stuff you post. I really don't mind looking a plum, especially if others are entertained as part of that process. So do share.
-
And I wait with baited breath for another origin story.
-
Hmm. Why would a username that literally translates to "the white" have any bearing on one's views on race, you mean? Particularly when the one in question makes a point of standing on the edge of offence, spends months trying to goad people through omission of information. More than anything else though, I think you've missed a trick. You should have just called yourself "Terra Blanche" ( it's ok, he's a character from a popular BBC comedy show - no one would ever confuse it out of context ). Cue the usual "I'm misunderstood" or "I don't understand what racism is" bolox from "the white".
-
It's not a problem at all. I doubt the two people who post there will get it.

You are stating the obvious, but in this case, probably worth it. Turkish's return is particularly amusing. After all, his parting shot was quite specific about the people on this board. I have to ask, if we really all are what he says we are, what does his willing participation in this so-called mong board say about him? Still, I'm sure the views on racism of a man who calls himself "Del Bianco" on the UI is going to be worth listening to..... *sigh*
-
Same thread, slightly different name and context. Good to see recycling to be of paramount importance in this age. Nice to see Turkish wheel out ye olde "only white people can be racist" line, just there then. ant - great youtube link of the position of those who believe "political correctness has gone mad". To all of you who believe this, I think you need to assess the things that political correctness stops you from saying, and indeed, whether such statements are valid in a supposedly civilised society. Lol @ the people having a pop at the OP because he did not confront the racist at the ground. I expect that you all confront wrong-doing on a daily basis. For those with more reasonable views, I'd offer only this. There is unfortunately no intelligence test attached to being a fan of Southampton FC. I know we'd all like to think that our fanbase is comprised of entirely reasonable people with reasonable views, but that experience is not really consistent with reality, Internet or otherwise. Best advice I can give is to report it when you see it.
-
Yup, and I'm sure that some of the Southampton first team were paper-boys in their teens. Doesn't mean they are paper-boys now
-
I'm sure knuckle-draggers would benefit too.
-
And er, it's "Two can play that game".

He's not a rap singer. A more accurate description is a mediocre peddler of chart-friendly RnB.
-
Sad for the family, obviously - but not a great loss to music, imho.
-
I second this motion. There's a genuine interest in the subject across the genders and it'd be a nice positive part of the board that has the possibility to benefit all. My missus does some awesome stuff, which I'd be happy to transcribe.

Suarez refuse to shake Evra's hand. Has Dalglish gone mental?

Was doing other things this afternoon so this game was on the periphery for me. However, I am very pleased with the win, and as others have said, sets up the West Hoof United clash beautifully.

Never went to a bullfight, but did a bull run in a Saints shirt. This is me climbing out of the Plaza del Toros.

I could berate SaintAndy666 for watching Question Time at the age of 18. Presumably, he should be out ****ging women or hanging around street corners at 10:30pm on a Thursday night. That said, I was a part time Radio 4 listener at 10, so I'd probably be slightly hypocritical if I did this.

I am very pleased to see so many deferent mindless little peons on this thread. It will make my eventual election to King that much easier.
-
If elected as your King, I shall wilfully abuse the power of crown immunity go on a bank robbing spree full of pomp and circumstance. We can use the proceeds to pay off everyone's mortgages.

Watched this game in my student days. Got thoroughly hammered, and mistakenly believed that there was no way that Le Tiss would be left out of the squad on that performance. Ah, the sweet innocence of youth. I'm sure that this an utterly biased view, but they should have built a team around that man.
-
You're getting a slap the next time I see you for that gleefully terse comment. (I shall attempt to administer said slap before your young son is big enough to protect you from me. So when he's about six, basically).
-
Only if I have a chance to be King through an election of my peers.

Would the OP care to explain why Dibden Purlieu Saint's secondary profession as a Ninja is not listed in the original post? I believe many would benefit from the services of a Ninja, ranging from people looking for an assassin to racy parents looking for an unconventional children's entertainer (throw the shuriken at the Samurai/next-door neighbour, etc). The omission of such a valuable skillset is, pardon my French, a bit out of order.

If anyone is working in a particular sector and is spotting a gap in the software market, I'm all ears. Always money to be made from being first-to-market, and I would cut you in of course.
