Quite right. We should not exclude Conservative voters from the process.

What many people don't realise about the BBC is the way they have held our commercial channels in check, especially in terms of commercial break length. Anyone who has attempted to watch a show on an American network channel will know exactly what I mean.

Yeah, right. That's going to sell well to the international crowd. Who needs NYC, Miami or LA when you can set your epic crime saga in the East Midlands?

GTA4 was just a fecking downer. Niko had his moments, but he was basically an a-hole. They went for tragedy when really, people are after the vicarious thrill of rising through the criminal underworld. Another thing that I think they've lost from GTA III is the ingenuity you could use to complete some of the missions. I remember one mission in GTA III where you had to snipe someone from a rooftop. Despite the target's age, he was actually a nippy little fecker. My solution was to block his escape route with parked cars and take potshots at the jam. It worked. These days, feels like it is all very scripted.

Probably because it confers so many advantages. For the price of a bit of red tape, they get to enjoy the benefits of the internal market, whether its free trade or access to a massive labour market.

Good point. This vote, and the fact that so many Conservative MPs who had previously banged the drum over Europe voted against a referendum will drive disenfranchised voters away from the main parties. How many UKIP voters did the Tories create on Monday?

You'll just breaker heart.

You seem like a down to earth girl. Very grounded. How do you think you would conduct yourself?

Or we could continue with this epic pun joule, and see if anyone else is capable of making the step-up. Who knows, someone may actually run for Minister of Pun in the next General Electron. If it's a female candidate, discharging those responsibilities could transform 'er.

San Andreas is amazing. The PC version has got a very decent modding community if you're interested in getting even more out of it. There are a lot of "stunts" servers, where you basically fly/drive about doing whatever you like. Even more bizarre is a mod where people just go about being citizens! The coppers are real people, as are the villains. I had a quick look and ended up getting mugged outside Los Santos airport within the first five minutes.

I expect he'll surge up there tomorrow and do the rounds. As they're all in one place, TDD's punching run should be a very short circuit.

GTA III was the game that heralded the arrival of the PS2. Sure, there had been other games out, but this was the one that made me sit up and really think "yup, we're in the next generation", much like Metal Gear Solid did in the PS1 era. San Andreas is still up there with my favourite games of all time. Played through GTA IV. Liked it, but in their quest to do a serious story, I think they lost a lot of what made GTA special. These days (and I'm in a minority, I know), I actually prefer the Saints Row games. Not as technically competent, but they are very silly games, which is what I really loved about GTA.

Soz. Just spotted the Ohm. Not trying the steal Quickfire Double's juice.1

I doubt it. In the face of this sort of resistance he doesn't know watt he's doing. Probably just saying "Ohm my goodness".

Your points have some power.

TRIP, TRAP! TRIP, TRAP! TRIP, TRAP! TRIP, TRAP! TRIP, TRAP! TRIP, TRAP! Went his hooves on the wooden boards. He was nearly at the middle when suddenly the enormous head of the Troll appeared from beneath the bridge.

Leave that Welsh tart alone!

This one's right up there too. Found this spoon, sir! http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=h9KZBULT0mo

That's the thing, though. No one has really proven that it'll damage the national interest. Just because some people of questionable character want out of Europe, doesn't mean that all views should be dismissed. That's the problem with yesterday's debate. There are voters of all colours who want to redefine the UK's relationship with Europe, and they're not getting a say. When is the Government going to be honest and deal with the reality of that?

All part of a masterplan? Fox hunting to be replaced with peasant culling by 2015? * The Lib Dems would never sign off on this. It would probably get moderated down to peasant mutilation thanks to brave barnstorming Clegg.

There's a difference between what Governments say and do with the opinions of those on the ground, though. Eurosceptism exists all over Europe, perhaps not to the same degree all over, but it exists in every member state.

Interesting, but unless I'm reading it wrong, I'm not sure that's what is actually being said. Now from what I read, if a country has been a member of the EU for seven years, no member state is allowed to restrict that nation's workers from moving wherever they like in the EU. This isn't really solving the problem - it's just kicking it into the long grass. Instead of being indundated with immigrants on the date their country joins the EU, you're inundated seven years later. Bulgaria and Romania joined the EU in 2007. At the moment, they need to get authorisation to work here, but they can move here freely in 2014. So really, we do have no control over our immigration policy. All we have is a bit of notice before our guests arrive.
-
I'm not sure that necessarily follows. First, just shy of a million people voted for UKIP in the 2010 General Election, yet they have no representation in Parliament. So it's not that people aren't voting. They are voting, but the electoral system is contrived so that almost a million people don't have a single advocate in Parliament. I hear loads of decent arguments for NOT being in the EU. We've only ever got more out than we put in once, and coincidentally, that was the year before the 1975 referendum. We have no control over the numbers of people that can live and work here. Our fishing industries no longer exist, and we are paying money to prop up economies that are extremely poorly managed. Worse than our own, if you can believe that. I haven't heard a single argument in favour of the EU which doesn't rely on some worst case scenario in which the rest of Europe will stop trading with us because we've left their club.
-
Again, mate - I'd pull you up on this. Listening to the debate last night, very few people had anything good to say about the EU, even those who were voting no on the motion. Those that were FOR the EU couldn't make a convincing case. All soundbites and platitudes. "We should be IN Europe" "We should be at the table" "We should be leading Europe" It's all a lot of waffle with no substance behind it. No-one was able to present a decent case for Europe. Mostly, it was "we'll really be in the shyte if we leave". Really? Why?

Before you do that, I would suggest that you send them to someone who has the software. My money is on file corruption.
