still browse Dubai - like to keep up on what your latest is in this thread - it is a good laugh seeing what the next theory / story is Why is it just when you think all is going well something upsets the applecart in both our clubs
-
So on the weekly wage bill count I'd reckon: Fogden - £2,000 Alfei - £1,000 as loan contributions Taylor - £1,500 Shorey - £2,000 Jervis - £1,500 Additions - £8,000 Save £1,500 on Cooper and maybe £500 on Sullivan. Net increase of £6,000. That'll be about an extra £150K or so on wages until the end of the season. Haha we are not paying anything like that - amusing you lot are - concentrate your efforts on wondering what Potty will do later sweethearts x
-
yes Rally coz of course you can guarantee that if the same happened to you all of you would be out doing the same - utter ****** and you know this
-
that may well be the case Nick but what was the alternative - Chanrai back - better to **** it up ourselves than have that w@anker back
-
bull**** as usual - all this was bought up on POL before he took over by those of us who are not just nodding donkeys FFS - if your going to make statements at least make them factually correct
-
Not sure I agree with that - I went regularly in the 90's when we were **** and had Scott "legend" Hiley etc playing for us and we were getting dicked most weeks. At least the pkayers although limited gave it 100% and thats all we asked for. It was a laugh because there was no expectation and it was a chance to hook up with your mates an just have a laugh, if we won the lager and hangover was much sweeter if not ahh well it was still a good crack. Alot of us still feel like that now we are just back to being a club with normal aspirations for a club of our size.

break even for div 4 was 11,500. comfortably above thanks.

If it works out it works out, if not then so be it. The HNW investors are businessmen - Mr Williams has a successful business - I am sure they know how to come up with a business plan and I am sure they would of accounted for discounted season tickets pre takeover as they would of had to put some projections together. I do not expect the board or PST to start banding around figures to be honest - its a business and ergo will have some things that are confidential. The accounts at the end of the year will tell their own story Either way this is much more pallatable than Chanrai and the other ****ers that have been around for 5+ years
-
you have no idea of the actual figures budgeted for and whether the discounted figures were already in the business plan pre takeover - your guessing plain and simple
-
it does make me laugh that some of you cannot understand the concept that it doesn't matter who we play, the fact we are watching our football team no matter who against is what it's all about. Meeting your mates, having a laugh, enjoying football no matter what. And yes I have done Grimsby away on a Tuesday nght and seen us get beat, Sheff Wed away on a wednesday etc. Back in the 90's we always knew we would lose but who cares its what football and laughs with your mates is all about, the banter, what went wrong, overdoing it midweek. Not all pompey fans are morons, every team has them, just look at your main board, some of your fans are just as bad half the time.
-
I know I said I wouldn't post again but most of the "real fans" at Pompey VFTT are happy that we still have a club FFS. You can't make a generalist statement like that. Wherever we are playing football does it matter - the fact is we can still go down the park and see our team run out, have a pie, meet friends for a pint and have a laugh. I am going to buy a neck brace for next season though, got a feeling I'll be looking up and not down at the pitch lol

nal, and tried to climb the league. That didn't go well. Once again they pleaded poverty but found money to go on holiday and to outbid bigger teams for players, lying to everyone about the costs. Now we are supposed to believe they are too poor to pay off debts again, but they've found enough to buy a football ground... £135M stolen - no punishment. :ooy[/i] just stood around cheering on the plucky blue army and in doing so stuck two fingers up to creditors. That's why the few cannot claim innocence in the crimes of their one day old football club, nor the crimes of the two year old one that went before. Call it financial doping, call it cheating. Just because your woeful managers and suicidal recruitment policy got you relegated, doesn't mean the attempted cheating wasn't morally and ethically criminal. And you just know they will now go on a summer spending spree and bend the FL over again - it's guaranteed! F#ck the wages cap, they have ignored every previous rule, what will change? Mr Integrity Lampitt was allowed to bypass the previous restrictions, they ignored the embargo, they even produced false accounts to the high court, and they sent players out on loan to trigger loopholes on squad numbers - so why should they worry about a wagecap that is difficult to police? Their new wagebill might meet the wording of the rules, but their image rights deals will be off the scale. By bottling this penalty the league has given them licence to pikey pikey do what they likey. And they will. As for Connolly, he saves them from complete humiliation over the last three months, yet they can't even give him the Player of the Season award, no doubt cos he's a facking scummah. And they can say it however many times they want and the News can report it everyday, but they are clearly not a fan-owned club. Unless of course the figures IF released show that Robinson isn't part of the new ownership consortium. But will we ever see those details that were promised ten days ago? Not all of them. Just a small club, only one day old, with no history - because that was left behind with the £135M debt. As we keep telling them, you can't just keep the bits you like.[/quote funny as **** mush, this thread used to be about reasonable discussion now its a sad inditement to you when you should be celebrating your excellent season in the premier league. This is the last post I'll make on this site but some of us did complain and question the spending. You cannot tarnish us all with that brush I'm afraid. And on the question of us being so happy about relegation, lets face it if chinny or his stooge harris had got in, it would of been another lingering death. Will it go the same way with the trust, who knows but at least its in our own hands to fook up. Thanks and goodnight
-
To be honest I think the rivalry and fact you are miles ahead of us doesn't really matter in the grand scheme of things. You lot and what you are doing is relevant in our current predicament. If we have a club playing football in league 2 next season with chants I gone that will be progress. No matter what happens from there on in. As for ugly women and tattoos etc I have seen the same in Southampton fella. All abit stereotypical eh?

smacks of desperation to me - wouldn't of needed to release this if he thought it was in the bag "As we have always stated, Portpin are willing to release their security and allow for a sale to take place to any bidder who can prove funds, not only to agree a deal with Portpin but also to fund the club going forward. thats not Portpins problem - that for Birch to decide (funds going forward). Funny how Portpin intend to pay most of the football creditors in years 3 and 4 - AFTER the parachute payments end and after Kushnir said they would be gone. Doubt Chinny reckon has even seen all the bid details either - he will know about the amount offered to him I expect "At present, they are a long way from that and until then we cannot take the PST bid as a viable bid in order not to risk the attempts to rescue the club." Thats not your decision to make Portpin - if TB see's it as the best deal / viable then see you in court for a true valuation of Fratton Park "Portpin do have the club's best interests at heart and will not agree to a sale to a party who has no ability to fund the club going forward. Portpin have invested a substantial amount of money in the club and should receive a fair value for that investment. So why do want £10m for Fratton Park then Chinny when TB has had it valued at around £3M
-
lol Rallyboy - neither you or I know the details of the trust's revised bid submitted Friday. Since the 1st bid was made there have been further people come forward with more money to strenghen the bid and I am not talking about pledges. Besides which, if the Trust do take over and it all goes tits up in 2 years time that's the same as what will happen with Chanrai once he pockets the 2 years parachute money and then puts the club in admin again. Going into admin with the trust would be far more palatable than knowing that ***t will do it again anyway in 2 years.
-
Just on a point of fact - 3 players top gun for 3.5k per week between them if you read it correctly.
-
indeed if we could average even 13k it would be a good result. either way pulling in the crowd today is a good result all things considered and a good result against promo favourties
-
sounds like a pompey signing of old "It is an offer that you cannot refuse. They will give me so much money (€2 million net per year and more than €1 million signing-on fee)."
-
The trust were always only going to pay football creditors £2m so there is no hole in the financial estimates - its in the business plan. Either the players etc re-negotiate their pay offs or it's liquidation and who knows what they get. It's upto Birch to sort that out. No point taking over the club only to find you cannot fund it.
-
Who cares - the fact is whether liquidated or not, this ****** will have nothing to do with our club. Even if liquidated we can start Plan B, whichever way anythings better than that *****. I'd happily be relegated again as long as he and the rest of the leeches have gone
-
I really don't think we're going to be too bothered about the league cup even if it were 10-0. The league however if not sorted by saturday........could be a different matter..ooer missus
-
only got 3 posts so quick question - what exactly is you want to happen ? Personally for me Plan B with a trust based club, the fact that chinny is baulking is as far as I am concerned and many others great news. I am assuming if we are "liquidised" The Trust will have the opportunity to purchase Fratton Park for what the administator thinks its worth. By the way - strangely the Wessex league only has 17 teams in it at the mo
-
You know I too am an admin on POL don't you ? I know you guys keep going on about how if the trust take over we might well end up in the conf south etc etc - but if the trust can stave away another admin I don't care what div we are in as long as we have a club. to be honest with what has gone on, the fact we will be well below you in the pecking order really doesn't matter considering whats happened
-
One thing about chinny's debt - FL stated no golden share granted unless he reduces that debt to around the amount it is worth, fratton is worth around £3m tops at the moment I reckon because it cannot be used for anything other than football. So whether liquidised or not he is only going get around that amount for his debt. The trust met the council along time ago and rumours were if it came to it council would stump up the funds required, I doubt with Penny Maudent sat there as well that they will not have already agreed this with PCC in principle
