Havng re read a lot of the posts on here it doesn't sound like the PL are doing this for the good of the club or even the 'reputation of the league' but to protect their own arses as it will almost certainly come to light that they are guilty of ignoring the fact they knowingly allowed them to operate whilst insolvent.

Is 11 million enough though? The court want reasurance not only of settling the oustanding HMRC bill but of future liquidity as well - doesn't really sound like enough to me by a looong way

Surely this is worse news for P*mpey than the 28 days by a long way - to my uneducated eye it looks like they are being prepared for liquidation next week, especially when the judges quotes are taken into account. I am still suspecting the 28 day thing , but then I'm a Saints fan and am still not comfortable at 3-0 up and 10 minutes to go. If they get wiped off the face of the planet - what happens to the points their opposition would have got from their fixtures - do they all automatically get 3 points? I mean they probably would have anyway - but they can't get nothing surely
