  1. exactly my thought - if wages not paid on the day they go to court will tell it all really
  2. Can anything happen between the submission of the statement and the court hearing?
  3. I understand from teh Skates on here that they were allowed to sell under the terms of the embargo anyway
  4. Coffee all over monitor
  5. Well those quotes from the PL don't seem to suggest they are happy to bail them out do they
  6. Indeed if this is an attempt to save the PL reputation clearly it just doesn't!
  7. Ah ok, so there may actually be nothing in this at all then - is this Storrie saying that Scudamore has agreed this or do we have a direct quote from him?
  8. Sorry to be dim - have had a good look around and can't see any official source about the parachute payments - where is this all coming from?
  9. oh I do like that pic of Notarf
  10. Havng re read a lot of the posts on here it doesn't sound like the PL are doing this for the good of the club or even the 'reputation of the league' but to protect their own arses as it will almost certainly come to light that they are guilty of ignoring the fact they knowingly allowed them to operate whilst insolvent.
  11. Is 11 million enough though? The court want reasurance not only of settling the oustanding HMRC bill but of future liquidity as well - doesn't really sound like enough to me by a looong way
  12. FFS! How is that right? Still not sure how this will prove to the judge that they are liquid and able to continue operating but that is just wrong - grr
  13. It will be a heavily policed event
  14. Does that include servicing the loans ? Preesumably they will have to disclose all 60m + of their debt?
  15. So the insolvency claim now means this is about more than the 11 mill yes? To get out of gaol they need to prove to the judge they can not only pay the hmrc but service their other debts and commitments yes?
  16. Well that has made me very happy - many thanks for that
  17. Pretty sure he was shown a red card last night for his confrontation of the ref Does this mean he wont even be on the touchline for his last game? Shame as it would be nice to sing him a song about his recent revelations
  18. 'Who owns ya' will do for a brief chant or If Avram storms on the pitch to confront the ref again ( if he isn't on a touchline ban) We could all do the ' Me love you loooong time Missa Avraaam'
  19. Surely this is worse news for P*mpey than the 28 days by a long way - to my uneducated eye it looks like they are being prepared for liquidation next week, especially when the judges quotes are taken into account. I am still utterly at a loss as to why they are allowed to carry on whilst clearly insolvent
  20. This pretty standard I believe, espcially if they expect the case to go on a bit
  21. I have the countdown music in my head now
  22. I am still suspecting the 28 day thing , but then I'm a Saints fan and am still not comfortable at 3-0 up and 10 minutes to go. If they get wiped off the face of the planet - what happens to the points their opposition would have got from their fixtures - do they all automatically get 3 points? I mean they probably would have anyway - but they can't get nothing surely
  23. la la la la la la laaaaaaaaaaaaaaa She's warming up...
  24. God, Amen to that. Why do I have this nagging feeling we are just going to get the 28 day reprieve? Still, I know its off topic but WEMBERLEY! , life could be worse
  25. Ah , because in the last few days they have a NEW owner who has changed the situation massively, making new investment and monies far far more likely, honest guv
