  1. I think it was rather because he was not as proven as Puncheon, but hey ho.
  2. Not a completely fair comparison as Puncheon was in the first team all season long for MK Dons and us, and Antonio joined us relatively late and was on the bench a lot. But I agree with you that Puncheon was one of our most effective players last season.
  3. They said on the FL show that the Charlton groundsman told them it was the worst decision he'd seen in 20 years.
  4. Will probably be online this evening around 8 if anyone fancies a game.
  5. If it's true that the game was called off because one touchline was quite icy and it wasn't safe for the linesman I genuinely think we should lodge a complaint with the FA.
  6. Top of the page...
  7. If it's been called off because of this then D'Urso is a f*cking w*nker.
  8. Not true, Dot Branning was watching Corrie the other day
  9. I did ok in the middle, I just start and finish games really poorly Bit of a problem that.
  10. Griffo 4-1 Saint_clark Saint_clark 1-4 Griffo Griffo 4-3 Saint_clark Ah well. Relegation fodder until I get used to the controls again.
  11. I'm a bit of a scrooge, so no.
  12. Moved into the HCDAJFU thread. It would be outstanding without doubt, but I really can't see it happening.
  13. Might as well get involved, can't remember my exact screen name (internet was f*cked on my PS3 for a while) but will add you lot. It's pretty much my username on here anyway.
  14. No, Cortese said he was in perfect condition going into pre-season, and was then worn out by the strenuous exercise regime.
  15. Although Deppo explained it quite well it's not really a strong enough link.
  16. I am staggered at some of your opinions Dune, I can only hope you are trolling. Thankfully due to this; http://www.bbc.co.uk/news/uk-england-11986228 This thread can be closed. Looks like you'll have to work harder if you want to meet your idol.
  17. Of course it isn't, but if the team we have after january doesn't get us promoted automatically that is a disappointment in my eyes. I'll be ecstatic if we go up through play-offs but after a year and a half of building and what, around £3million spent? We really should be at the top of this league. Unfortunately my new found optimism from last season has already dissipated due to the lacklustre start this time round, so I find myself in the default setting of a Saints fan from the 6 years before Markus.
  18. Perhaps I should have phrased it better - if we secure promotion on the last day with the teams around us having had great seasons, then i'll be happy. But as things stand there is no-one other than Brighton in this league who are pulling away. WE should be pulling away as well, not having to chase.
  19. AVP is worth it for that price, just for the alien campaign.
  20. As has been said, we should already have the squad in place to get us out of this league at least. The team after january better rip this league to shreds. I'll be disappointed if we end up securing promotion on the last day of the season, or "safely" getting into the play-offs.
  21. He makes out that the 4-0 win over Rovers was the story of the season up until that point - when that is far from the truth.
  22. For some reason i've got Fulham in my mind.
  23. Indeed he did go out on loan and come back a much better player, and after that a lot of Saints fans said they would gladly keep him. But he already wanted to leave by then because he'd had such a sh*t time. Plus he probably only came here for Redknapp.
  24. Yeah, it's called down syndrome.
