Wtf are we not sending TP on? We are losing - no points for a 1-0 loss Russ you goon.
Pretty clear that Russ is playing for the 1-0 I reckon...

If this stays 1-0 Martin will think he’s Brian Clough.
Especially given the inevitable praise from Pep that will follow...

Man City up to 3rd gear now

Lallana about to be replaced by Aribo... Surely he can last more than 60 minutes in a pedestrian game like this...?

Armstrong doing a Shane Long there #inevitableoffside

Different energy about City this half.
Yep, up to 2nd gear now... 4 more gears still to go... 🫣

Only 1-0 down in the most difficult game in world football. Yeah, I'd call that successful.
It's more to do with Man City playing in first gear to be fair, but it means we're still in with a sniff (yeah, I know they'll go up a few gears in the second half and we'll make a load of subs-for-subs-sake that make us weaker, but one can dream....

Bednarek having to drag Martin down the tunnel, wanting to carry on his rant at the 4th official.
Would he miss more than one game if he ends up getting a red? Might as well go for the red if not 😁

I guess that's what they call a relatively decent first half, all things considered...

Lallana giving ref a well deserved earful.
Indeed. Perfectly good challenge

You deserve a special medal for being completely above it all.
You're far too generous, sir. It's actually not as difficult as it looks to achieve my level of intellect. A cheese sandwich would probably be a more proportional reward (with lettuce and mayo, if that's not stretching my credibility and entitlement too far)

This manager, this style, this "making average players better", this "courage", all of it exists entirely in your imagination.
Russell Martin is not "our only route to success".
I'm pretty certain you are on a wind-up.
He's certainly on an interesting momentum curve...

And to think there were those who doubted me when I said several seasons ago that the tax cheats getting promoted to the championship would elevate the chortle factor on this thread several fold... 😁

Not if we have no headroom due to PSR...we may well need to sell to sack.
Can't we do a Leicester and bend the rules...?

If even Russ has given up trotting out the "2 weeks" nonsense, then it wouldn't surprise me if it's longer than that.... Do we actually know what the specific injury is this time around, or is it the usual guessing game the club play with this type of repetitive injury situation? (aka "Doing a Larios"...)

I see in his press conference, Pep said that RM shouldn't change anything and defended his stubborn game plan. Classic.
