People losing their actual shit about people not actually "losing their actual shit"...🤦🏻

Indeed...The first international break has never been this early (subject to @Matthew Le God confirmation)... nice try Mr Blackmore....
-
So he's either a Muppet or it's an excellent double-bluff...?

What kind of sports editor goes on holiday 24 hours before the end of a football transfer window...?!

"Great minds..."

One assumes this is all leading up to Sport Republic declaring that Schlottenbeck was the THB replacement all along and this nextCB to join is in fact a Quarshie replacement, i.e. 4th choice behind Stephens and Wood...?

A very poor quality copy... (The "cherry trees... Clever!" caption, top right, is the Bournemouth giveaway) Anyway, back to the transfer window...!
-
Still trying to track it down... Found this thread on the Bournemouth forum though, which confirms the source... https://bournemouth-forum.vitalfootball.co.uk/threads/monkey-chicken-petting-zoo.12318/ (Apologies for going off topic!)

I've got a copy somewhere... It was definitely for Bournemouth.... We sort of adopted it for SMS over the years...

I hate to go all MLG on you, but that original sketch was for a new Bournemouth stadium complex... The originator being Lifelongcherry, aka Lifelongsaint, aka Marc Jackson... https://www.dailyecho.co.uk/sport/football/local/2182176.saints-fan-completes-bournemouth-takeover/

Out of all those, the goalkeeper situation is perhaps the biggest concern for me... Assuming Ramsdale doesn't stay, as you say, that leaves us with a keeper that was Norwich's No.3 not too long ago, and much derided by their fans to boot (echos of our opinion of Bazunu...) Has he suddenly gone from that status to becoming a reliable No.2 in such a short space of time...? I'm usually happy to give players the benefit of the doubt when they're not rated by fans of the club we're signing them from, but I'm struggling with this one... The bottom line is, if Ramsdale goes then we *have* to bring in a decent No.2, rather than rely upon a previously ridiculed No.3...

Yes, of course... But I'm just responding (in 'thinking-out-loud' mode) to those who believe that Mubama *is* Larin's understudy and who also believe that we won't be signing anyone else to fulfil that role...
-
If Mubama can't fulfil the 'Larin understudy' role, wouldn't it have made more sense to sign a Larin 'clone', rather than Mubama, in the first place...? (If, as some people say, we "won't be signing another target man"...)

A great debut today... My motm in fact... A cut above Wood and Stephens, although Wood has a decent game too, probably in part due to playing alongside KS.

Downes off. JWP on

At the match. Pants first 15 minutes, then on top the rest of the half. Bragg looking out of his depth and/or low on confidence unfortunately. Reckon we'll need a third goal as I can see Millwall grabbing another. P.s. the new CB with the long surname looking very good P.s.s. since when was wrapping your arms around our strikers and pulling them to the ground not against the rules...?
-
Bugger... Cue a match winning performance from their back up keeper.... #saintsy

Ha... I liked that he compared Nuno to his grandmother though... "I've been very strong in my beliefs about who I am as a player and as a person, regardless of whether my Nan was the manager or it's Nuno."
-
The major negative of JWP rejoining for me is that we won't be able to use the highly amusing "Free kick in JWP territory (even though he's no longer with us)" bants on match day threads anymore...
