The 'trick' I use for this on most seat booking sites is to reserve a single seat on one browser, but hold fire on the payment screen, and then book the two remaining seats on another browser session...

As long as the squad is "exciting", "gets me off my seat" and is "as good as, or better than last season" I'll be happy...

Agree that 'having a strop' isn't a good look, but much prefer that to players that shirk the responsibility, especially at his age.
