Well, yes, of course... but that's my point... when a team loses, even really good ones, it's usually because they're having a "bad day at the office"... I'm not going to lose sleep over a one-off sub-par performance when we've got some key players missing and have been playing really well of late. Every team has games like this.... Hull City lost 15 games in the championship last season and are sitting comfortably in mid-table in the premier league right now... I'm sure they had plenty of games like this last season... Much more than we'll probably have I'd venture...As long as it doesn't become a habit then we can draw a line and pragmatically move on. FWIW, I think we'll come away with a draw from this game, which will be a decent outcome in the circumstances.

For those bemoaning tonight's performance (so far), did you genuinely believe we would go through the rest of the season without a bad performance and/or another defeat? If not, what's so bad about this game being one of those inevitable matches...? If it's (statistically) inevitable that we're going to lose at least one more game this season (Coventry lost 7 last season, we've lost 3 so far), then losing to WBA away is probably not the end of the world in the general scheme of things... You're pragmatically....

When I got my first IT job, fresh out of school in 1986, I was told by my employer (paraphrasing): "Computers are going to take over everything and therefore people won't need to work as long as they do now and everyone will have more leisure time as a result... You'll be retired before you're 50... Utopia!" Well, here I am, aged 58 and still grinding away (still in the IT industry I hasten to add). Maybe the advent of "AI" (aka 'more powerful computers') will finally make that 40 year old prediction / vision of the future come true...?
