  1. The manager for chronic euphoria... #moveon #letitgo #obsessed
  2. "Proscribed" (rather then 'prescribed') being a freudian slip, one assumes...?
  3. And, for avoidance of doubt, I'm currently wearing shorts....
  4. Saints v Wrexham now on general sale https://www.southamptonfc.com/en/southampton-v-wrexham
  5. Also sounds like a carbon copy of Sulemana too...
  6. How do we know for certain that he didn't have other options?
  7. Apologies if I've missed it but got a link to this speculation? Cheers 👍🏻
  8. It could be considered somewhat convenient that Dibling missed the Valenciennes game with a reported "minor problem"
  9. I suspect people have been using the phrase "club captain" without the club actuually using it themselves.
  10. Unless I missed it, I've not seen or heard the club explicitly refer to Stephens as "club captain". Indeed, I don't believe such a post has existed since Kelvin Davis days. Whilst it might appear to be just sementics on the surface, there's a world of difference between being appointed "club captain" (which is more of a ceremonial role) and the designated on-field "captain". Is there a link to an article where the club have specifically referred to him as "club captain"?
  11. The main positive to me is that Fernandes is on the plane. Perhaps a sign there's a decent chance he's staying...? (or at least no tangible interest in him as things stand)
  12. James Ward-Prowse (my Lord)
  13. Why do people get so triggered by people who get so triggered by Russell Martin...?
  14. Indeed. I know "it was only Eastleigh" but I thought he looked pretty good in that game in particular.
  15. Aren't they in breach of some kind of retail code of conduct there, if not the law? In other words, surely they had an obligation to highlight any additional costs at the point of sale? Ok, so they might argue these are purely optional additional costs, but it's still bad business practice to willfully choose not to disclose such additional costs to prospective clients. Thanks for the heads up though, as I'll be sure to steer clear of TUI in the future given their apparent reluctance to operate as an ethical and customer centric travel business. Feel free to let them know they'll be losing much more than £400 in future business due to you highlighting this to people such as myself. (Although, of course, their shop-floor employees won't care a jot as its "nothing to do with them"...)
  16. I was reading some of their fans' comments after their 1-1 draw in a preseason match Vs Barnsley last week. No prizes for guessing that the goal they conceded was due to the keeper attempting to play out from the back in a dangerous situation. Amusing to see a spate of fan comments along the lines of "at least we're getting those kind of mistakes out of our system before the season starts".... *Chortle*
  17. Indeed. Every political and/or economic philosophy has flaws, as far as someone with my limited intellect can tell. Which is why, as a fence sitter, you'll never find me dogmatically advocating a particular philosophy one way or the other...
  18. I think we'd all vote for utopia if there was evidence that it worked...
  19. Reading that, you can see why some might say* that's why 'Corbynism' is most popular amongst the 'wanting something for nothing' generation.... (* Obviously, I wouldn't say that )
