  1. Yes, I forgot about Delph. Still, he was very much the exception rather than the rule. Name another L2 player who has cost anywhere near that amount. Delph was probably the brightest prospect outside the Premiership. I know some of you think our youth set up is the best in Europe etc. but it isn't.

And again with the "He's 19 so he must be worth millions because he is going to go on and become world class" theory.

Managers wont overlook the fact that he is completely ineffective just because he is young and has a good touch. I saw a 10 year old doing keepie-uppies in Flemming Park last weekend. Young, skilled... must be worth £4m at least.

Just checking, but you are joking yeah?

You do realise the French setup rate him very highly hence why he was captain and now being moved into the Under 21's. A host of top Premiership teams rate him and have scouted him.

You are crazy if you think he is worth 500k.

  2. Arizona, You say League One players don't go for big money.

Fabian Delph (a league One player) went for between £6 million and £8 million a few weeks ago.

Before you say Schneiderlin isn't worth it, I think the French National setup(under 20 captain and now into the Under 21's) and a number of Premiership clubs disagree with you.

Morgan will be a top flight player in the next few years perhaps even a full international at some point aswell. Anyone that thinks otherwise is clearly mad. ;) :D

    You say worth 500k :D :D :D :D

  3. I believe Liebherr WILL put his own money in eventually, but don't forget that we brought in over £2million from the sale of Surman and McGoldrick alone.

Few clubs in the lower leagues ever spend anywhere near to the amount that they bring in. Mr Liebherr has already spent alot of money compared to every other club in this league. Remember our 6 new players would all have had signing on fees and agent fees along with the total fees which are 4 times what anyone else in League One have spent.

  4. How many digital channels do the BBC have now - 4 is it ? most showing endless repeats .

I don't accept the current BBC Football League broadcast arrangements are all they could be or even acceptable . If they don't want to broadcast a proper programme at a reasonable time then they shouldn't have bidded for the rights in the first place .

A lot of the younger people on here have to realise that as you get older your ability to 'burn the midnight oil' will inevitably decrease - believe it or not it'll happen to you one day too .

    1) Iplayer shows the show whenever you want for 7 days after the Saturday night show..

    2) You can record it.

    3) BBC website keeps all the goals on it from Monday onwards.

    4) Sky Sports News on a Freeview box shows all the goals every hour.

    What more do you want?

  5. I think the way the BBC are scheduling their League coverage is appalling - for many of us 'early risers' the programme starts wayyyyy too late at night - I know many viewers have the equipment to record it or watch on-line but to be frank I can't be bothered . Personally I preferred ITV's Sunday AM programme .

If you can't be bothered to record or watch it online on iplayer then your argument about it being "appalling scheduling" falls apart.
