  1. Did I say, that you said that he doesn't? No πŸ€” I was just pointing out Dorking Wanderers have been extremely successful since they were founded. 12 promotions in quick succession through non league.
  2. Not at that point we weren't. It was about Spors' new assistant.
  3. 12 promotions in 23 years suggests he knows what he is doing.
  4. No, it is where the person we were discussing worked.
  5. Serie A is the top of the Italian football pyramid.
  6. What on earth are you on about now! I've never had another account on this forum.
  7. With their EFL league seasons over, Ballard and O'Brien-Witmarsh back in the under 21s tonight for the quarter final.
  8. 1) It reflects it in a simplified way so it is accessible for non data analysts. Pretty much every role in the game is based on input from real life people in those roles giving SI info on how to improve the simulation. 2) In FM, the the better your analysts... the more indepth the data you get to see.
  9. Exactly! Beyond @Holmes_and_Watsonand @Turkish understanding of modern football.
  10. 1) If you followed the conversation rather than fail to score a point, you'd realise we have been discussing two different new members of staff at Saints. One is Spors' assistant and is 27 years old, the other is a video scout in his early 20s. 2) I need to be aware of their careers to put them at Saints on FM26.
  11. Nice try. Wrong again on two counts... 1) I am not an analyst on a computer game. I'm a volunteer researcher. 2) Only job I would apply for at Saints is as an academy teacher.
  12. Football data scientists... use data, computers and maths. He has a masters in physics. A past as a software engineer is very relevant.
  13. Or perhaps people in their early 20s rapidly progressing in their career up the football pyramid because they are good at what they do.
  14. He isn’t fresh out of school. He is a 27 year old with a masters degree in physics at a good Uni. He has 3 years experience in top level football in an analyst role and another 3 years experience as a software engineer for a major football software company. Given his role at Saints, all very relevant.
  15. Video scouts are often very young, it is a foot in the door role at clubs. He is in his early 20s and already has experience at a very progressive club in non league.
  16. AFC Totton have today been promoted to the National League South. So you'll be able to manage them on FM26 πŸ˜‰ πŸ˜‡
  17. He does have football experience, he was an analyst for Dorking Wanderers FC. He is in his early 20s, has relevant software experience and has had early experience in football. Perhaps he is rather good at it, hence a quick jump to the Championship.
  18. Why is that funny?
  19. The Echo reported it at the time... https://www.dailyecho.co.uk/sport/25045608.southampton-fc-set-part-ways-head-recruitment/ His replacement also reported to be imminent... https://trainingground.guru/stapley-appointed-assistant-technical-director-by-southampton/
  20. We now have someone different in charge of appointing the manager to when Martin left. Although that new person has worked with Rohl before and favours Rohl's style of play on managers.
  21. We don't even know who the manager is yet and you are picking his captain.
  22. Johannes Spors comes from wanting a Red Bull style of football. Numerous interviews from his past stating that, plus some in his time at Saints. He won't be picking a manager that gets them to play like Martin did.
