They are share issues, where the company creates and sells new shares to investors (public or private) to raise capital for growth, operations, or projects, essentially selling ownership for cash without taking on debt like a loan, though it dilutes existing shareholders' stakes. In this case it is the main shareholder buying shares in his own company as a means to put money into the club.

I didn't say it was spent well as the bit in bold states. But the total amount spent was significantly large. It was mainly spent on rubbish players for the level.

We spent a lot of money under SR in the Premier League. The issue wasn't spending money, the issue was what the money was spent on!

We were in the bottom half of League One when he died. A lot of money was invested after his death.

Why would that mean they leave?

No club has every academy player be good enough for the 1st team. The vast majority would make it, with many going into non league. That doesn't mean there isn't a good reason for them to be at the club. You never know for certain how they will develop. Plus we need the academy team to have enough players in their squads, some will be squad filler so that we can play games.

He is a right back, and is not remotely close to being good enough for our first team. He is heading ouf on loan again to Chelmsford in the National League South.
