With regard to contracts for Loan Players, here's the breakdown:
Out of Contract June 2026.
Will Smallbone (Millwall)
Joe Aribo (Leicester)
Charlie Taylor (WBA)
June 2027
Juan Larios (Somewhere abroad)
Gavin Bazunu (Stoke) **
June 2028
Aaron Ramsdale (Newcastle) **
Y Sugawara (Germany??) **
Ben Brereton-Diaz (Derby) **
June 2029
Damion Downs (Hamburg)
The four players marked with an asterix are probably worth a combined £20m, all going well.
Ramsdale on his own is worth more than £20m, let alone the others.

Hopefully Saints will extend Bree's contract. No brainer to do so, as I'd imagine he's not so expensive and would be useful in this division again.
Would you what him in the squad if promoted? I wouldn't.

If we want to get back to the Premier League it has to be this season. Reasons:
1. Our parachute payments are lower net year if in the Championship.
2. The obligation to buy Peretz only kicks in if we get promoted.
3. Other key members of the squad such as Scienza and THB wIll be off without promotion.
4. Tonda could be poached meaning we would be back to the SR wheel of fortune game of trying to find a new manager.
5. The financial muscle of Tottenham / West Ham will blow most championship teams out of the water making promotion harder next year.
6. Burnley and Wolves will be tougher propositions in the Championship than Leicester were this year.
7. Solak may not want to cough up another £80 million to keep us running.
Come on Saints. We can do it.
1) Not by an amount that couldn't be covered by deadwood sales in the summer
2) It was reported at the time as not an obligation, but an option. And not one that is conditional on promotion. So why do you think otherwise?
3) Perhaps, but they'd be replaced
4) Same could apply even after a promotion
5) Leicester haven't blown the other Championship sides out of the water. Spurs or West Ham would have a bigger income, but again can only take one place and may be another Leicester
6) Still hard to know at this point
7) Where have you got £80m from?

Personally think we have more chance of reaching the FA Cup final than the Play Off final.
The former requires beating significantly better teams

We aren’t making the play offs. Too much to do.
Really? It is still in our hands.

Good strong line up.
Wonder why a different approach to the Leicester cup game?
Because Fulham are significantly better than Leicester.

None of his 18 goals in 21 games this season have been in the Championship either, have they?
Nope, and I didn't say they were. I was simply pointing out his record in the PL isn't relevant to how he'd do in the Championship.

4 goals in 40 here I think. It's almost as if Turkey and England are not the same. We don't have to think about what it would be like if he was here, we know, he was crap.
None of those 40 games in the Championship

Lots of Saints changes included in the updated database due out next week...

Looking at the table we have the best form in the league over the last 5 matches.
It is better than that, we have the best record in the league since Eckert took charge.

What benefit does not playing have to help him not play if suspended?

Losing at home to Notts County, who went on to be relegated, was a major factor in us not winning the league in 83/84. Rochdale did the double over us in League One. In the Championship we lost to Doncaster...
None of those are remotely close to the mess Sheff Weds are in.

Oxford, Blackburn, Norwich all games lost this season when they have been at bottom and playing badly.
None of those are comparable to the mess Sheff Weds are in.

I think they are about 7 to 1 to win. Its well worth a safety bet as losing this game is exactly what we have done throughout our history
Is it? When?

I really don't understand them. ManU make a profit for last year yet are reportedly £1.3 BILLION in debt. How can they be said to be trading within any sort of rules? If this was my, for instance, sausage making company surely it would be declared bankrupt?
Perhaps someone with the knowledge of these things can explain it to me.
I owe the building society a lot of money for the mortgage on my house. I'm not going bankrupt as I can afford the repayments, so can Man Utd with theirs.
