You seriously believe these posters, and all the slogans we're now seeing, aren't part of a wider initiative to build the SFC brand? Have you not seen the marketing brochures sent to firms in the area? They make great effort to emphasise the importance of being associated with two names: the Premier League and the Saints. And you say there's no point putting them on the stadium as they'll "primarily be seen by the people that need the least brand building"? Do you believe everyone who goes to matches is Saints for life? Some are there to "give it a try" and therefore are the exact people that need to be targeted. As for the "Cult of Cortese", I believe many feel the need to over-champion all he's done for the club in reaction to those who seem to have some sort of vendetta against him. Note I didn't open with "this is garbage", I'm more of a fan of debate with respect.

Increased revenue = increased potential. I'm pretty excited about the professional vibe about the club now as well, I didn't realise I wasn't allowed to be.

Is it worth registering for that?

We're now 100% red and white - has that ever happened before? Usually have yellow or blue away kits, assume yellow'll be third kit though

You can pay 45 quid to guarantee a picture with him, thought it was worth it given he's not gonna be around much longer and he was one of my heroes growing up (along with MLT and Liam Gallagher, odd mix I know!) That Major Tom cover is a classic, right up there with Eric Cartman's Poker Face!
