Another strong performance from Fonte yesterday. As OP says, shaky start to his Prem career but really proving his class by showing he can adapt. His step up in form has been a big factor in our defensive improvement imo. And I know the money we offered was a big factor, but I'll always love the fact he dropped a division to join us!

One of the myths that seems to have been peddled over the years (and encouraged by Redkn*pp) is that he performed some sort of miracle at Spurs. Fair dos, saving the skates was impressive, but Spurs? Do me a favour; he was appointed with 30 (?) games left to play and with a very good squad. There was no way they were going down, I could have saved them that season.

Guys, I need some advice. One of my mates from work is a Wycombe fan and has invited me (and a few others) to go with him to watch their match at P*mpey in the JPT a week Tuesday. Should I go? On the one hand it'll be amusing to see how they're suffering first hand, but equally I'm not sure about putting my money in their pocket (although I think Wycombe get 50% share). And Turkish: if I do go, what should I wear?

Why just this season? A promotion push in League One doesn't cost loads and BC might just think it'd be worth it next season.. Didn't he say something along the lines of no longer feeling like a reluctant owner anymore?

Sorry guys I may be a bit behind but didn't Chanrai say the club was worthless to him in League One and that he planned to fund a promotion push? Are we assuming this is just a hollow promise in an attempt to get the fans onside?
