Surely arsenal will take anything but a spurs win?

The "little things in life that really annoy you" thread

Agree - and also the notion he couldn't do it on a cold, wet tuesday night at Stoke! -
Few episodes into Firefly now and got to say it wasn't what I was expecting! I thought the Western element would be more subtle, a la Star Trek and it's 'wagon train to the stars' beginnings and interpretations. Not really big on Westerns, but got to admit I've not given them much chance. That said I've enjoyed what I've seen of Firefly so far (5 episodes in), not sure it'll be the sci fi nirvana I read it was though - Star Trek's crown is safe

RIP Bally. Begs the question though; would you rather live a 'normal' life and die at 80 or play the game you love throughout your life (and win the World Cup!) and die at 60?

Can't have been that long since the old building was built

I bet he has! A fair few of their fans haven't supported their club financially (barring the odd shirt purchase) for years then!

Do these season tickets for life actually exist? Sorry, bit late to the party!

The whole setup since the takeover has been far from professional - from the guys cracking out the bubbly in the directors' box and milking the applause in the centre circle the other day to this press conference, which looks like its taking place in my local village hall! It's a world away from what we've become accustomed to from our owners who have revamped the whole image of the club and just quietly go about their business in the background.

I'd imagine a more likely scenario for us would be Lambert playing the ball for Lallana/Gaston/Rodriguez to strike (although ideally it'd be Lambert to Lambert!)

That Weimann (sp?) chap's pretty good I reckon

We would still be in a relegation scrap if ........

We hadn't beaten Man City, Chelsea and Liverpool - that's a sobering thought! -
Leeds at home last season - set the tone for the season in a league it's incredibly easy to stagnate in

*opens can of worms*

Stones, glass houses

They're up already tbh - donny and brentford play each other on the final day and both have a significantly inferior GD

All but promoted after today's results

Bit harsh on Kelv!

There are other things to base predictions on...

How many different teams have Saints played in the top division?
saintmatt replied to Tom8558's topic in The Saints
Wigan? And there's nothing wrong with turning this into a Sporcle - fantastic website! -
Is this not the default position for a Saints fan? I know we probably have a bright future ahead but it's still going to take a while for some (me included) to shed the fear of relegation, it's in our DNA!

Newcastle and Man Utd wins please.

Still wear mine, sometimes at matches sometimes at 5aside. Still don't understand some people's obsession with what's 'cool'... Relax, be yourself, and just enjoy life - we're not here long

Hahaha!
