While I think that is crazy, I said nothing because I already knew how rabid Americans can be when their culture is questioned. I had talked with people about it before, but when pressed for real reasons they do it, they draw a blank and say it is healthier without having any evidence, just like they do in a religion argument. If I broach this kind of debate with people here these days, it's only to entertain myself. They really don't have a clue why they do most things they do, they just do it "Because"

I don't entirely agree with JWP being panicky. One instance he had the ball somewhat unexpectedly, he turned a full 180 degrees and saw no good option for a pass, so he just booted it way upfield. That was good composure and safe play. You can't keep possession 100% of the time.

Current euphoria aside, I think that the future will prove him to be our best.

With my location, I can't hold a season ticket. However, if we carry on like we started, I have something in my undies that I will be holding for the season.

NA sees this as a moral win just as we do.

The boy did good. We gave him a starting place this week and he took control from the whistle. It looked for a while that he would get over excited and shoot his load too soon, but he kept his composure and cut in and closed the threads down before the trolls got a shot in. He is new, so it can be expected he will be prone to over excitement, but he shows good instincts and should have the stamina to see out the season comfortably.

I was so excited, I forgot.....This was an AWAY game at a ground where they have not lost since they got beat by a T Rex!

I'm, massively, massively proud of our display of intent.
