I actually get a little offended when people like Alps complain about our athletes this way. They are doing it for themselves first and foremost, not for a bunch of couch potatos. If we support them, all well and good, I choose to personally, but only out of admiration for their commitment and dedication. To criticise them as though they are "letting the country down" is just pathetic. Anyone who does this should just get off their arse and get into the competition.
