Tried supporting the red devils as a kid like my mates did but after a couple of days gave it up! Couldn't understand if my home team had a club, why I would support another. Asked my mate (dad never in to football) whether Southampton had a football club? He told me there were "saints" but they were ****e. Told him doesn't matter, they were my home town club and I would support them from now on! 22 years on no looking back...
