This is why winning the playoffs is a pipe dream, we simply don't have clinical strikers in the team! They need five or six chances to score once.... A Penalty shootout would be a car crash to witness
Joe Lumley must be seriously pissed off a keeper that initially wasn't even on the team sheet (Mcarthy) suddenly chosen above you.... Martin obviously has no trust in him

I think we will get a positive result tonight but really can't see it leading to any kind of unbeaten run for automatic it's playing offs realistically. We really do have to gamble on going up this season as we certainly won't get another better chance! the squad will be considerably weaker next season! KWP and the better loan players will certainly be on their way to the premier league. Also we will be stuck playing a style under Martin that isn't a good fit for championship promotion (too easy to counteract and a style that ships goals) assuming he isn't off for Brighton by then.
I still think we are kidding ourselves on automatic promotion it not only relies on us winning all remaining games but hoping others have a major wobble! Wether this team have achieved top two is debatable? Part of me thinks we should have as on paper we have a decent team at this level but football isn't like that.
It would be hugely satisfying to go up through the playoffs but I don't think we have anywhere near the bottle for that either and we are still conceding a crazy amount of goals lately.
