Unless our magic dragan is prepared to bankroll our survival by buying pretty much a whole new team bar one or two we are destined for the championship we need more than a new striker, who's going to provide the support and assists? as our players certainly aren't going to be on the wavelength of any quality striker

As others have said it took them an eternity to pull the trigger on Ralph despite a record number of games lost in a row, They have a track record of stubbornness Why would they admit they've fucked up this early?... It isn't going to happen unfortunately

Just as well as they will all think they are far too good for the championship even though that's their level at best!

Yet most said his grit and passion is just what we needed!... Well that's only any good if it's combined with some level of footballing skill... His positional sense is the worst I've seen

We let our foot off the gas when on top you can't afford to do that in this league that combined with switching off at set pieces, we aren't good enough for this league and don't deserve to stay up no one could argue that we are!

That's that then if we can be on top and lose in this manner what hope have we got

I know there's plenty of games left that much is obvious but the point is our form has been horrific pretty much all of this season and the second half of last season we have an ingrained losing mentality how is that suddenly going to change? Especially with a manager who seems no better than Ralph at motivating players or choosing the right system.

The man is totally out of his depth like Ralph was in the last year of his tenure and it's totally not his fault he's here as any championship manager would jump at the chance for a stab at the premier league however brief it may be! The facts don't lie the club that's bottom at Xmas gets relegated 99% of the time. That said it's very tight at the bottom of the table this year and with the world cup break taken into account we have a chance but our form needs to suddenly change and I just can't see that at the moment

Well there was a lot of fan short lists on here and none of them contained Nathan Jones that's for sure and there was a lot of suggestions by the media too and none of those had Nathan Jones on their list either till the rumour that he was coming turned out to be true. So yeah the club kept that one quiet on purpose, probably for the exact fan reaction reasons as shown on here.

Agreed by the people that let it happen I meant the other board members who stood by and did nothing and let themselves be steam rollered into appointing Jones by ankerson and semmens and not the fans

Save the day was probably the wrong wording then but yeah I agree we are looking like we aren't going to survive under Jones but we weren't going to survive under Ralph either as he had a run of like two wins in 20 odd games and both he and the players had lost faith. After Ralph it was sooooo important to get it right, It beggars belief that they got the most important managerial appointment so disastrously wrong like off the scale wrong!
