Desperate times call for desperate measures is there a better captain than JWP? he seems too nice for the role and doesn't have the grit and bottle to fire up the team also his form is atrocious at the moment set play aside. Would anyone be any better or is he the best we've got? I'm thinking perraud might be a good shout? Seems to actually care There are more fiery characters such as lyanco and salisu but they don't have the temperament

Unpopular opinion you pay your money and a lot of it so you can say what you like as long as it doesn't cross the line into abusive language/violence/homophobia That said it won't necessarily help the team but at the same time it doesn't seem to make our lot any worse either
-
And how exactly is Ralph going to "save the day" as you put it?
-
Exactly this... The only thing that will bring SR to their senses is an empty stadium and we all know that isn't going to happen as long as fans are still buying tickets that's all they care about
-
There's not a chance in hell they are going to admit their mistake after three games more like when there's three games remaining!
-
And who would you say is the main person to blame for appointing him? And are the people who let it happen equally to blame?
-
Yeah we had that period of overachieving under koeman and poch.... It clouded a lot of people's judgement including mine, it goes to show what the club is capable of though with the correct investment and quality players onboard.... Being a selling club to our very core undid any hard work though and we have regressed at a rate of knots ever since

It's such worrying times isn't it? And if like you say SR aren't going to admit any kind of wrong decision.... Which its highly highly unlikely they would.... We just have to stand by as fans and watch the slow (or fast in our case) demise of the club! It's pretty heartbreaking stuff & what's worse is it could have been totally avoidable with a rational appointment, any kind of protest at our club is pointless though as we talk the talk but not enough fans band together and actually have the strength to drive the message through! Likes others have said we are the kind of club that humbly accepts it's fate.... Maybe it is our time to leave the league... The table doesn't lie... But FFS let's at least show some bottle and grit and try for a great escape! Where is the passion?

Make no mistake we have some truly mediocre players but I still say we would be just about good enough to survive had we got an experienced manager in, now is not about pretty football I couldn't care less about that, now is about putting the ball in the net enough times to ensure we stay in this league! yes whoever came in had a incredibly tough task but why not give yourself the best chance by getting in Someone who knows what it takes to beat the drop someone who has experience of a premier league relegation battle or at least experience of this league and if not this league proof that they have some experience at the highest level abroad... Jones had none of those things yet Somone at the club insisted he was the perfect fit! That someone has condemned us to an 80% chance of relegation
-
We can't bring anyone in if SR fail to act soon enough just like they did with Ralph.. they aren't going to suddenly admit they got it hugely wrong.. by the time they act we will be well past saving!
-
All SR had to do was get this appointment right it was obvious that after RH the next manager had so much riding on it ie our premier League survival! There's making an unpopular choice in manager for survival which we should have done (big Sam, Sean dyche etc) and then there's doing such a left field bat shit crazy choice in a manager that it alienates 90% of the fan base... Jones came from nowhere and wouldn't have been on anyone's short list both fans and pundits included. This smacks of someone suggesting Jones and driving their idea through to the bitter end and the rest of the people being too scared or stupid to say we are making a huge mistake! There's basically a lot of guilty Muppets in charge of our club

Not quite sure what you've been smoking over Xmas but yes poch is clearly just a rent a coach for hire that will spend all his free time teaching championship managers a thing or two for a biscuit.... In the words of Nathan Jones Jesus wept 😂 🤦♂️🤦♂️
-
So hypothetical scenario say Jones fails to win in ten games what then? There can't be another change so I guess a case of we made our bed and have to lie in it! Can't help thinking the club already knew things were going to be extremely difficult so we got in championship experience instead of premier League? It's early days and the man needs at least ten games and we simply have to get reinforcements in in January as AA at least isn't up to the task and Che Adams works better as an supporting striker

We were dire against Lincoln absolutely dire but we ground out the result including an offside goal and a clear hand ball that the ref never gave against us, so maybe lady luck is starting to find us attractive! What the heck let's go 3-0 saints! they owe us a boxing day bargain Please Jones no Elyonoussi dejenepo or Adam Armstrong!
-
Top eight of the Sunday park league maybe
-
Well we might have got lucky but we certainly weren't any better than Lincoln... How far we have fallen
-
A sellout
-
Our first goal was offside and perraud clearly did a hand ball but if we can hold on we will take it!
-
Walcott actually did something decent I'm in shock 😲
-
Money for nothing and the pitch for free
-
Picked up just where we left off if anything we are worse
-
Time to cut our losses there long overdue
-
What's worrying is Lincoln look like they want it more
-
Wtf is Theo doing anywhere near a football pitch?
-
There seems no escape we need a complete change in everything
