Which is that @Miltonaggro has scored a new forum record for reactions to a single post (97 and counting), while clearly gaining an unfair advantage from the deployment of a previously unknown 'moderator's recommended post' feature. Where's this feature been for the rest of the season? I demand an independent enquiry, and — if found guilty — Miltonaggro's expulsion from the forum.

Please keep this going. Actually no hang on - can you get done for spying on another team's forum more than 72 hours before the verdict of an EFL's independent panel is announced? We don't need Gibbo coming after us for that as well, he's so scary

No it doesn't. The headline is "Southampton 'spied' on other Championship clubs, EFL told". It's not reporting anything as a 'matter of fact'. It's reporting that that is what Boro have told the EFL as part of their submission, which we've basically known all along. What's telling though is this line: "It is also thought other clubs have privately expressed concerns" 'Privately' strongly suggests that the other clubs in question haven't come forward with any evidence or statements to support Boro's accusations. Which leaves Karen FC with their dick swinging in the breeze, making lots of unfounded accusations about what happened to other clubs, which none of those clubs have corroborated. And looking a bit silly.

We already know that that scenario is bollocks. Could we get kicked out? It's possible, but extremely unlikely. But let's just say the verdict from the panel is expulsion. In that scenario, the next step is an immediate appeal by Saints — which is permitted under EFL rules — and in that scenario the final gets postponed until such time as the appeal has played out, which could take months, and which would open an enormous financial, logistical and legal can of worms for everyone involved. The EFL, Saints, Boro, MIllwall, Wrexham, Wembley, individuals who've bought the tickets which are now readily on sale, etc etc. There is literally no scenario where Saints get kicked out, the club justs accept it, and as part of that process Boro are immediately asked to step forward to play in the final on the 23rd instead of us. Not one.
