I meant to post this but I keep forgetting. I can't say absolutely for sure, but he's so distinctive looking, I'm sure it's him? Anyway, Peter Rodrigues attends Pompey games, I've seen him a few times over the last season. He sits in the directors box. Can anyone confirm he still lives in the area?

What about Jason Gillespie Australian Bowler and of course the late, great Anhony *****lla. Anyway don't be so defensive, I was just saying what happened, thought people might want to know, besides you should be pleased, Halling is clearly a knowledgeable Saints fan and i'm sure this wont be the last time that the Saints/Saints US/UK connection crops up over the coming weeks.

They were just talking about Southampton Saints on NFL sunday! Quite funny, they were trying to get Reggie Bush who likes 'Soccer' to say he supported Southampton. He Said summink along the lines of, "maybe, but I aint seen them play yet, when i've seen them then yeah maybe!" It then cut back to the studio and the rest of the commentators started taking the p*ss out of Halling for supporting SFC and suggesting Saints must be desperate for fans etc. FAF!

Yeah I saw that! I'll sky+ it and watch it Tuesday.

I'm in the pro-Murray camp. He's a winner and he does not give a sh*t about anyone else, he's doing it for himself, not Scotland not England or Great Britain. I find him honest and refreshing, though admitadly he is a miserable so and so. He's kinda like a British Johnny Mac (Minus any charm).

Then your workmates are indicative of whats wrong with 'fans' at the moment. It's the same in Pompey, I guess more and more we have become customers and if the price is not right or the 'product' simply not good enough, people wont buy. Sad but true. Pompey = Good Product but Over priced = High percentage of 'Fickle' fans. Saints = Poor Product at reasonable price = High percentage of 'Fickle' fans. 'Fickle' applied in this context as being fans who pick and choose what games they will support their team at worked out mathematically! ie. Enjoyment of game - Price of Entry = Likelyhood of showing up. These days you can buy a Shirt and stake your claim as a 'Supporter', hence 100,000 of the 200,000 Pompey fans wearing club colours to celebrate our FA Cup success, yet how many o them will regularly put their hands in their pockets to watch 'their' team, about 1/10th.

Khan LOL. Shoulda stayed Amateur and Fought for Team GB in the Olympics.
-
I fancy the Steelers to win the AFC North (Though I hope not).

The Dolphins are my Missus team. In my twisted mind I just cant get away from viewing them as a team synominous with gridirons UK heyday in the 80's, they were well glamourous then what with David Hasselhoff at Quaterback and Crockett and Tubbs out wide! Recent years have not been so kind to them..... :D:D

I love the Browns, but they have looked shyte in Pre-Season. I reckon this year will see them regress to a 8-8 record and no sniff of the playoffs.
-
LOL! Brilliant!

I think the 'principled' stand against paying a fiver will surely be coming to an end soon. Surely you could not previously post as often as SRS and Corp did and not be missing the forum like mad, otherwise why post so frequently in the first place?

Steady on Pancake, flattering as it is, this means I must be the internets most pathetic troll ever! :(
-
To be honest Nick, whilst Corp and SRS spats and ongoing quests to 'pwn' each other tended to drag on abit, it did provide some amusement at times.
-
I agree, whilst I enjoy the quality of the players at FP these days, somehow it all feels abit empty. I guess you cant have your cake and eat it. Anyway, thanks for the nice comments Gemmel. I'm off to bed now, I'm transfered windowed out. What a load of old over hyped Sh*t.
-
Hope not he's Shyte! Never made it at Newcastle and vastly overated.
-
I know, I know. But where does it all end?
-
What! Even Pompey?!?
-
.... now a joke club and I hope it all goes tits up, although it could be quite funny as who knows, it could upset the 'Big four'? Oh one more thought, with Man City buying Robinho, where does that leave SWP? He's gotta feel sick and very confused. (poor boy).
-
It ain't gonna happen. Diarra will leave Portsmouth, But not for Spurs. He'll go to a top european club. I believe Pompey have an agreement that if a 'Top' club comes in for him, we wont stand in his way. He is absolute quality, arsenal are pig sick they let him go....
-
Well y'now, you cant have it all I suppose....
-
Gary Glitter has said "I want to hide away in Hampshire, with no media coverage, no real work to do and no one watching me constantly". Southampton have signed him on a two year deal.

Thanks Junction! But why'd you think i wouldn't be ok? I bet there are loads of Pompey fans you'd get along swimmingly with. I got a few Saints supporting mates, when it comes to football we just take the **** out of each other. Saints has got a neanderthal element, you know it has, it's just that Pompey has a larger element that revels in it's pig ignorance and seem to like to take every opportunity to show people just how f****** retarded they are, again, despite reports eminating out of Southampton, thats not the majority of Pompey fans.
